I currently have an ego twist 1000mah with a Kanger t2 clearomizer resistance is 2.4. I generally vape around the 3.8-4.2 range. I want to try some tanks. Before I buy, I just want to double-check that my selection(s) are okay. My main concern is not volume, but size when placed on an ego battery.

I would eventually like to get some glass ones but I think those are more appropriate for the ProVari I currently don't have. :)
Sorry, I get a bit distracted by shiny things. For the ego, my choices are:

The mini nova is the correct one, yes?

SmokTech V2 Tank Kit

The carto that comes with it is LR, is that the best choice? They have replacements in 2ohm and 3ohm.

Or, another choice?

Thanks:)

Look into the smoktech DCT tanks. They come in a 6ml version or a 3ml version (which is perfect size for an ego battery). They are cheap. They run about $10-$12, and the replacement pre punched cartomizers are only a couple bucks. I own the T3, and a couple vivi nova's too, but I always go back to the carto tanks. I just like the draw and the crackle of the cartomizer doing it's thing.

I still use my vivi nova's regularly, but when I go to work, or leave the house, the only thing I bring with me are the carto tanks. It's pretty much my all day delivery system.

May I .... in with a question?
Thanks...!
I have a 650 Twist and have been thinking about a tank.
Which would look best on this size? And also, which would be best able to handle the more potent juices so as not to crack ?
Thanks for any help and thanks for letting me .... in.

The 650mah is the same width as the 1000mah I think. So, the same would apply to you.

However, to prevent cracking you need glass, which are more expensive. I just was wanting to try something cheaper first to see if I liked it.

I want to emphasize that you don't have to have a Provari to use a carto/tank combo:) There are also plastic tanks and clear clear tanks for the carto/tank combo:)

Pretty doesn't mean better, necessarily.

Coming from vivi novas and kanger t3s and switching to cartomizer tanks, nothing has compared to the vapor quality I get out of a prepunched boge xl carto. I drive down to altsmoke today and picked up some of the prepunched ones for two bucks a piece to run in the smoke tech dct tank they sell. Started with the overpriced smoketek cartos then switched to boge and will not look back. Also I don't recommend running dual coils on ego batteries, they can't handle the amp draw very well.

Just my personal experience with my early birthday present.

Hi susieq from SuzyQ! Heh... The thing is ... Everything about vaping is so subjective. What works great for one is garbage to the next.. What tastes like heaven to one tastes like dog poop to another so.. IMHO .. Cartotanks were not easy for me ( I'm an avid researcher to the point of obsession) I followed every videos directions to the T and still had issues with punching my own cartos .. I also did not like the flavour I was getting from either Boge or Smoktech cartos .. I recently found my personal sweet spot with Ikenvape ( prepunched) cartos. I use them with an IBTank or Phiniac and Omg its like the heavens opened up for me ( see my thread " my face hurts") I also like my Vivi Novas ( not quite as much as my cartotanks ) but really good .. Thumbs up from me. Keep us updated and hope you find your perfect vape soon :)

a 3-3.5ml ego tank will sit flush with the ego battery. i have one that i dont really use anymore, but its just the right size for the battery. i picked up mine from madvapes

with cartos. LR cartos will provide a warmer vape but will decrease the performance of your battery because itll use more wattage to power the LR carto. a SR carto will give yu more battery life, but wont give you the same warm vape and wont product the same throat hit.

I really do want glass, as I like my plastic-cracking flavors, so I am thinking this would work?

Yes, that's one excellent tank! :)
Here's mine on a Vamo. I have the XL tank.
