@Rat2chat2 I'm happy to help out someone that's interested in vaping (in my less than two months vaping I've already passed on a starter cig-a-like as well as some liquid) but I can usually tell the difference between someone that's curious and someone that just wants something for nothing

I am fortunate that I'm in a position that I can help those in need. Sometimes I'm still a bit naive about who's really in need v. who's just looking for a handout. But, it is pretty pathetic what some people try to get away with these days....

When I was still smoking I sat outside my apartment with my back to the sidewalk - I would read and did not care to be bothered. If I had a nickle for every time I was asked for a cig I would be rich lol. And if I just ignored them some would come right up behind me and ask again. I do not understand the mindset that thinks it is ok to do that. What is too funny is some get all peeved off when I say I only make 1 at a time Now I am in the apartment so no more people trying to mooch

People have been begging for stuff for quite a long time. It's not exclusive to vaping.

I'm a broke college student, but I don't see how someone can be broke enough to not afford juice. $25 should be more enough cash to buy you a several month supply of unflavored juice. I've met people that have been in a bind that have shot down my offers. Unflavored doesn't exactly taste great, but it'll keep you out of withdrawals. Beggars can't be chosers... but they are now lol.

While I don't ask for freebies I do enter a lot of contest to try to win stuff. After all if I were to win it would save me money in the long run. Plus it would give me more shinies. lol

Reminds me of a story a clerk told me at a smoke shop...

When he was in college, he was in the smoking lounge enjoying a Turkish cigarette. Looked for all the world like the "other stuff", which some idiot mistook it for... and asked for a hit. He hit it like it was "other stuff"... and almost passed out

He told me this while I was picking up a pack of Parodis (sp?), to use on folks who would constantly try to bum off me...

I help people in need. A guy with no food needs help. A kid with no medicine needs help. A young mother with her kids, car stuck in the snow, needs help.

Some nitwit who wants to vape but can't/won't pay for it doesn't need help. He/she needs to either get a job or stop vaping. Simple as that.

Because the group also has valued information. Information that I like and use. I just find it odd and then people on there get mad cause they get scammed. I just don't get how one could afford to smoke but can't seem to find the funds to vape.

Without reading any other posts on this thread... To answer your question about being able to afford to smoke? They did the same thing then. They just bummed cigs off of whatever smoker they saw out and about.
