Beginner tips for cleaning atty and cartos?

First of all, do you clean cartos or just use them until they're through? My atty is due for a cleaning - any advice you would pass on to a first-timer that you didn't catch in your initial research? Thank you! - Rhals

I don't clean cartos much, if I do end up doing it for some reason, I flush them with regular water then boil them in Hydrogen Peroxide, flush them again, then let them dry in the oven at about 100 degrees for maybe 2 hours, followed by air dry until they are completely dry. Same will work for atomizers............

Thanks Ratchet! That is the first I have heard of using the oven - most say "let dry" but also instruct to only use water, sometimes alcohol - is Hydrogen Peroxide a good combo of gentle and effective, or superior for cleaning?Thanks - Rhals
