Hey everyone!

I'm sort of some what experienced with the whole vaping community. However, I want to start building my own mods and experimenting with coils. However, I'll take baby steps. That first step being that I want to make my own e juice. I know the basic ingredients; PG, VG, Nicotine and flavorings (sometimes water). My question is, does anyone have pointers when it comes to making e juice? Anything beyond ratios, percentages, mg to ml nicotine ratio? For example, I really don't know anything about what flavors I can and can't use. Or the steep times (if any juice needs it). Any advice would be helpful y'all. Oh and if you can happen to share a link where I can buy stuff or have literature to read, I would be much obliged. Thanks to y'all! Have a safe Wednesday haha!

Hi mavap and welcome to ECF!

General consensus is that for long-term storage of nic base, you should transfer it into glass bottles with very little air at the top and store in the freezer. To have some ready to use, transfer from the larger bottles to smaller bottles.

Also, it seems to be a good idea to thoroughly mix up the liquid before any transferring or use. Seems the nic isn't always evenly disbursed in the liquid.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

I will share some equipment tips I learned the hard way:
Use a graduated cylinder to measure - I have a 10ml with .2ml increments - very accurate.
You can "graduate" your own mixing bottle one you have the ratios you like. For an easy example, you could mix 5ml of 3mg juice with 10mg of 0mg juice to end up with 15ml of 1mg juice, so you can mark your bottle at 5, 10, and 15ml with a sharpie and save yourself some time in the future.

I'm with you 93......100%. All of my juices are my exact recipes and mixtures. I was trying to figure out the logic behind rancor's method.

Rancors post:

this makes no sense to me
