So I got tired of waiting for an AGA-T2 to be in stock, at least at a reasonable price anyways,
and I ordered an AGA-T. It finally came in the mail today and I jumped right in.
This is the very first coil I have ever wrapped, of any kind, and it went fairly well.
I am using 400 SS mesh with ribbon Kanthal. The mesh is only about 1 1/2" square, and
I had to get fairly forceful to get it rolled down thin enough to insert in wick hole and it
still had what I thought was a fairly large hole down the center.
I have read where others said the ribbon wire was springy enough to be a problem while wrapping
coils. If anything, I probably wrapped mine a little tight. The main problem i had was tightening
the positive nut without the hole assembly trying to spin and pull the wick up against the positive
poll.

I kind of went half and half between the oxidized method and the pulse method. I torched the mesh
enough to clean it and torched it a little after rolling to clean off any oils and residue from my fingers.
I torched the ribbon wire before wrapping, and then carefully pulsed the mod while working the coils
to try to work out any hotspots. This went fairly easily, but I noticed a hotspot right by the negative
screw after juicing the wick. Nudging it just a little seem to work this out.
My next coil will prolly be 4 wraps instead of 3 since it is a little warm for me. The vapor is outstanding,
though the flavor is no better than a carto, maybe even a little worse. I'll give it a couple of tanks before
passing judgement on flavor though, since I didn't fully oxidize and do a juice burn. I hear unoxidized wicks
have to work in a little before the flavor starts to come through.
One question though, do regular users cut back on the nicotine for genisis style atties? After just 5 or 6
vapes, I started to get a nicotine headache.
