Hello ecf.
Two weeks a vaporer. Still a bit shell shocked to have quit smoking without a struggle; I feel as though I've somehow cheated. 12 years pad.
My questions:
Anyone have much experience painting aluminum? I have pen and ink supplies, but I don't know if india ink will stay. Shellac on top? Someone told me gesso works. Any help on this appreciated like you don't know what.
Safety precautions on a roughstack? I'm putting a half black half silver on my girlfriend's dresser when my 18650 cells arrive. Next to that a bowl full of CE2s labeled with which flavors are in them. I'm borrowing a multimeter.
Should I tell her to keep the carto on to protect against the button being depressed? That would seem pretty essential to avoid having a prolonged discharge in her bag. At first I was thinking an ego extension and a shorty cone (slightly obsessed with the new blingy bits; I apologize), but that doesn't clear the button. A sealed 510 connector and the carto? Does that have any impact on the safety of the battery? Am I being paranoid?
Am I more likely to have her inadvertently push down the roushstack's battery connector by using an extension, or less? I'd prefer to not have to solder this replacement switch within the first week if possible. (Which, of course, probably wouldn't affect the battery connector at all.
)
I think that's about all I've got. Thank you sincerely if you have any thoughts on any of these questions.
