I think it's my page, yes. :)
Those aren't my batteries, my statement stands. :)

It's possible that any vaping product that applies too much pressure can dent the battery, yes.

It can be dangerous, an important distinction.
The denting has to be bad enough for that battery, and the situation, for it to move from possibly dangerous to actually dangerous. There is no data on acceptsble dent size, depth, etc., available as no denting is acceptable for any of the other commercial/industrial applications for these cells.

I don't know how common it is but I'm guessing there are at least thousands of cells like those in that picture being used by vapers.
I'm using two that are rented a little. I've looked under there pretty closely and determined in all my vast battery experience </sarcasm> that they aren't dented down enough to be dangerous. They aren't close to touching anything. And I no longer use the mod I believe to be responsible. Also, they don't get used in any mech mods.

I have a couple like that, mainly from dropping them in head first on mods that positive side is down hitting the little button contact in the base. I guess the weight of the battery is enough to dent whatever metal makes up the positive contact of the battery. Lesson learned.... don't "drop" your batteries into your mod, turn mod sideways & slide the batteries in, then turn upright & replace battery cap/door, etc.

I mentioned up topic that I was getting a little over a day from a pair of 30Q's in my Alien 200W mod. I was mistaken. At 10W I get two days on a set of 30Q's in the Alien. It's become my alternate carry mod when I'm going to be gone all day.

iStick 40W and Pico 75W share that task and go all day, but only the Alien can go two days without a battery change and still be small enough to fit in a pants pocket.

I got some 30qs vape at 55 watts and they aren't lasting a day? It's been maybe 3 5 charge cycles when i first got them and charged them i got 2 days out of them but now maybe a day? Charge them at 0.5 amps on my luc 4

Not enough info for us to guess what might be going on.
Post well lit, in focus photos of the tops, entire side, and bottom of the batteries. Peel off any stickers so we can see the printing on the wrap.
