Hi.

As the topic states what are the benefits of using twisted Kanthol and Clapton wire for building on a rta or rda?

I'm currently using regular single and dual coil builds. Usually 26-29 g Kanthol with setups running from 0.4 -0.8 ohms.

Looking to experiment with other new builds and looking for advice or info on the benefits of others.

Thanks always

main benefit is the ability to build lower ohm and higher surface area, with thinner gauges of wire. More surface area means more juice can be converted to vapor at one time.

2x29, twisted, has almost the same resistance as 1 26awg. But with almost 50% more surface area, at a cost of about 25% Heat flux. 2x30 would have same Heatflux and surface area as the 26, but 25% less heat capacity, so faster ramp-up.
