Hey guys, some weeks ago I made a thread asking how to mimic the experience of smoking a cigarette or how to get the closest experience to smoking but vaping.

I had a lot of recommendations on what tank I should buy and I decided to ordered the SXK doggystyle from FT but they were taking too long so I went to a vape store and bought the Berserker Mini and some 60pg/40vg e-liquid to use one it.

I decided to buy the berserker mini because through reviews and googling I learnt that it had the tightest draw. So I have been using it since yesterday and I love it, I use the smallest airhole and it's totally what I was expecting. Some people might say it's too tight but I think that for a smoker it's perfect.

Anyways it was all good until it started leaking from the airhole. I also started getting a lot of eliquid under the drip tip and it started getting into my mouth. I'm using Kanthal A1 24 GA (I know it's a bit too "big" but for now it's what I have, gonna buy some 28GA ) 9 wraps contact coil 0.75 ohms 2.5mm ID. Cotton bacon v2 as wick.

I want to clarify that it doesn't leak only when I'm filling it (top fill), it just starts leaking and accumulating e-liquid under the drip tip after a few draws.

Coming from the ammit 22 I was very careful to not put too much cotton into the juice wells because that's how I had to do it with the ammit 22 to have it wick properly but this things seems to wick godly, I mean after I realized how well it wicks and drains eliquid I stuffed the juice wells with not a lot of cotton but ALL the cotton, I stuffed so much that the cotton in the wells felt solid when I touched it.

Still no dry hits, keept wicking godly, I checked the cotton after a chain vaping session and it was still good to keep going, I would say that it even was too saturated after so many draws. Unfortunately I had to stop because it started leaking again and accumulating e-liquid under the drip and it plain sucks. It's a messy experience, the vapor is not smooth because there is just too much juice because the tank is flooded (or that's what I suppose) and I also get some juice into my mouth. It's no good.

Putting that much cotton should have fixed the problem because it should block the e-liquid from leaking and flooding the tank so I'm not sure what to do to fix this issue that I have.

Thanks for reading, hopefully someone can help me on this one.

Uuuh… the Berserker can perform unpredictably at times. It sounds like you do have flooding, and that may or may not be connected to the wicking, but I'm not entirely clear what is going on.

There's a long thread on this tank, you can find various filling to avoid flooding methods there (including bottom fill, which seems to work better for some folks.

I would look at a few youtube videos to get a sense of how to wick your berserker (and coil placement) because it can be a finnicky beast. Also, I would disassemble the tank completely and check all your O-ring placements and if one is missing, sometimes that will occur, and if I recall correctly that may be a possibility (with the full sized at least) and you want to make sure the O-rings are properly seated and not deformed or loose and whatnot.

And no just "stuffing more cotton in around the base" is not going to halt leaking if a determined tank is going to leak, just putting some more cotton in MAY not be the fix. I can't say too much about that, because I use rayon.

If all else fails you may (or may not, theoretically you should be able to remove the flooding and leaking with the juice you have) but you MAY if all else fails wish to look for a slightly higher VG ratio.

Good luck,

Anna

It just needed more force to close it, seems like if the vacuum is not perfect it starts leaking a lot. I also started doing bottom refilling. Thanks!
