I know what you mean about having to sell off your woodworking equipment. I lost my very well paying job (I was self employed and had to shut it down) about 6 years ago when the economy tanked. Under employed for four years after that an had to sell off an extensive gun collection.
I absolutely refused to sell off my woodworking equipment. I have a complete wood shop in my garage and it is my sanctuary.
Your table looks very nice and I can appreciate the time, skill, and effort that went into building it. Many different joints involved there and the dovetails are perfect, and not easy.
Is that cherry with mahogany accents?Nice!
I did some woodworking myself but had to sell most of my equipment. Life happens

Those are both very hard dense woods. I'll bet even though it's a small table it's quite heavy. I could do the dovetails with a jig and router, but wouldn't even attempt to cut them by hand. Very impressed! Thanks. Don't try handcut dovetails in bubinga or wenge unless you REALLY like sharpening your chisels.
I made CD boxes like the one pictured out of both.
I did most of the crosscut chopping by just slamming harder without sharpening.
Is that cherry with mahogany accents?
I previously posted about my other hobbies, which are sewing and crocheting. Thought I would post a pic of a cute stuffed toy kittycat I made for my grandchildren. His name is Franklin:

Oh, that is adorable! I want one for myself, lol! Is that your own creation, or a pattern?
I knit and enjoy the shooting sports (pistol shooting mainly, I fancy myself a modern Annie Oakley). Firearms collecting has been little for me, lately, as I put all my fun money into collecting Reos now. But I have a couple of special firearms: my Smith & Wesson 66-2, 4" 6-shot .357 mag revolver with the original Pachmayr grips and Cocobolo grips for "fancy times" (barely ever shot, born in 1984, I believe) and my Winchester '94 .30-.30 from my Grandpa (it's in rough shape, but it fed the family through many deer seasons).
Thank you. He was easy and fun to make. I made several, since I have lots of grandkids. Here is a link to the pattern online:

The table is mahogany with ebony accents & working splines.
The CD box is also mahogany.
Mahogany is my favorite wood to work. It cuts like butter and holds a good edge.
Another (surprisingly) great wood to work is white ash.
It's hard as a baseball bat but cuts like butter![]()
Boats, beer, wings, sports, running, cross fit, wine, beer (oh, I already mentioned that), Hooters wings are the best, surfing....
Unsure of where you are but if there's one around you Archie Moore's wings are even better than Hooters'
I don't think we have them here..
... Yeah, but you have Medieval Times in Florida lol. They're really good, they're not so spicy you can't taste the chicken. That's why I don't really like BWW
