Hello All,

I'm still learning at a quick rate of speed but with so much information AND so many products available, I'm not sure what my next investments should be. So far I've gotten a 650mah (Joyetech) and 1000mah (TW) VV eGo batteries and 5 Vivi Nova Mini's. The TW kit came with the tank 'tips' which I've used for one of my favorite flavors 'Fireball' which starting tasting funny in the Vivi Nova's. Note to others read first then do: There are many threads about Fireball killing plastic tanks

I'm looking to pickup:

A glass tank for Fireball, which seems to only be available for 'cartomizers' so I need advice on those two items. One that's not too 'big' for on top the eGo's and another which would fit the next item on my buy list a larger VV/VW PV...

A larger VV/VW PV which there seems to be a lot of and I can't figure out what's best for a new user. Want one that show's ohm's on atomizer. Don't want to spend more than 100 or so. So big buck ones are out!

A smaller eCig setup that won't be so conspicuous when I'm out at places like Disneyworld which I can still use my own ejuice in. While I want it to be easy to 'hide', battery life is still important as I don't want to run out!

I would also like to try dripping so I'd like to know what would be good 'fit' for the eGo's and also the larger VV/VW PV.

Then if you don't mind adding a couple of your 'personal' favorite hardware item's that I may have left out that would be great!

Thank you for your feedback!

Mike

Well here's 2 quick suggestions for ya -

KGO batteries 1100mAh (ignore the name, the link is right - don't have to get the kit but the micros are great for 'stealth vaping')

Dripper - Vape - SmartVapes 306 1.8ohm E cig Dripping Atomizer (can be used w/ any 510 batt)

I actually use the micro w/ the 306 everyday - just carry it on my keychain and a lil 3ml bottle of juice in my pocket :) (the kit actually comes w/ the keychain attachment so...idk where you'd get one separately)

pic to show u how small it is

eRoll for "stealth" vaping

Best "low" dollar bang for the buck in a full sized VV is probably going to be the VAMO, or at least it is a very solid choice. Of course it depends on what you want...for $100 you can get an eVic if you like gadgets and for another $40 you can pick up a blem ProVari.

Can't help with dripping or glass tanks.

You can get metal tubes for the novas. They're a little tricky to fill, though, since you can't easily see the juice level. Also note that there are different types of plastic used in tanks, and maybe some will be better than others with the fireball.

In the sub $100 range, I've been attracted to the Sigelei ZMAX and Tesla, though I think I'm going to bite on the Provari. Definitely look up PBusardo and GrimmGreen reviews on youtube. PBusardo gets really technical, and personally, GrimmGreen's tastes seem to suit me.

For analog form factor batteries, I think the KR808 is supposed to be pretty nice. The Joyetech eRoll looks pretty cool, too. Or you could just use your Ego batteries with an EVOD. I'm sure someone else can give better advise on the analog form factors, I'm just regurgitating what I've read.

My first Ego C batteries I actually got in a kit locally, and it came with drip atomizers and cones. So I haven't looked to buy them, but I know it's a 510 drip atomizer with an Ego threaded cone, and a 510 drip tip. There are also rebuildable drip atomizers, but make sure you know what you're getting into. Either know how to use a multi-meter, or have a protected mod that can read the resistance of the atomizer. Since you're just looking to start dripping, you can get the 510 atomizers, Ego cones, and drip tips for around $10-$15. I find it to be a hassle, but it's good for going to a vape bar and tasting flavors. If you get serious about it, I've seen rebuildables that can hold something like 40 drops.

Magic, when I started I went from an Ego-T kit, which really didn't help me quit, to a Provari, haven't regretted the decision

If you are on a budget, get yourself a Sigelei ZMax (skip the Vamo, not bad but it's HUGE). right now you can get the Stainless Steel for $66 shipped (you'd need batteries & charger though)

Scroll to the bottom of this page (or since you are fairly new, keep visiting that site, GREAT vaping deals from around the web updated at least twice daily): http://.........blogspot.com/

Howdy All,

Thanks again for all the suggestions, so maybe the Provari for a bit more money and skip buying the smaller form factor for going out.

I'll look into the metal tanks for the Viva Nova's, I can measure out the ejuice so that might be ok, not being able to see into the metal tank.

Watched a few of Grim's vid's I'll track down the Provari one and give it a watch.

Thanks again All

Mike

Hi Mike - if you want vv and vw on the pv I'd suggest the Sigelei Zmax for you.
Also - the provari is vv only, no vw.

Cleaning the mini-nova is getting to be a drag to test out the 6ml tester's I keep buying. Does it take long for the taste to change over or do you clean it in between flavors?

I use the full size vivi novas and usually clean them between flavors. You might want to get a few dripping atomizers for flavor testing.

Yes, I'm watching 'A PBusardo Review - Sigelei Z-Max' of that right now funny enough, that was because grim like the VW of the darwin, so I started looking around more. Seems Provari needs a V2 :)

That's a good review - he goes in depth there.

He says he's reviewing the V1, but it's the V2 (dark window/rms&mean settings) based on what I'm seeing on the Siegelei website. Perhaps V1 was Beta 1, and V2 is release candidate 1 ? Maybe that's what he was 'saying'

I do see the benefit of VW, I've been running the 2.8's in nova's and switched over the tank with the 2.4 and since the voltage was high I took a couple of burnt hits before I realized what I'd done.

If you're going to get into carto tanks one thing you have to get, I mean really have to get is a tank tool. I was using mine earlier and thinking it was probably the best $12.00 I've spent on vape gear. (I got a stainless steel "Slap Yo' Mama," but other vendors carry similar tools now that aren't as expensive) A PBusardo Review - Slap Yo Mama Multi-Purpose Adapter - Big Daddy Vapor - YouTube

Although it isn't stainless, mine cost me $2.50 and it's made of metal. I agree... You need one of them to help keep the juice loss to a minimum when filling. I'm loving my tanks, hope you will to.

Thanks all, I'll watch the Slap Yo Mama and the Provari review!

I really do appreciate the feedback, I made some mistakes in the beginning with some stuff off the shelf in a mini-mart and don't want to waste money. But I guess it's ok, I've been 'free' of the Marlboro man since just after the first of the year!

Smoktech had v1 and v2 - the v1 didn't have RMS. He'll be calling the Sigelei v1 because it came out with RMS.
