This thread has gotten away from the OPs question. In all reality, do not feel like a mod with a built in battery is a waste of money. If you only use the MVP exclusively, you will have 1-2 years of battery life if not more. Not to mention, the life of a battery is measured in number of charge cycles. Given that the MVP 2.0 has a huge 2600mah battery, you will be charging less than an ego.
Personally, I rotate between a few different APVs. Not to mention, you will probably add to your vaping toolbox in the next year or two. It is not the end of the world if a device that you pay $50 for stops holding a charge in 2 years. It lived out its usefulness and you got great use out of it.
I have an MVP 2 and I also have a Zmax and a Vamo. There is nothing wrong with upgrading to a device that uses replaceable batteries, but there is also nothing wrong with the MVP 2 either.
