Sony VTC's are definitely king. Agreed. I've been doing some research and I think the purple Efest 18350's are MXJO batteries. I think I'm gonna grab one of them and an AW and see where that takes me. I'm about to order a Fogger V4.1 and I'm gonna rock that with a 1.1-ish coil on my 18350 set up and see how she works.
I think the purple efest 18350 is a Tensai.

Yea I figured 10.5 amps might be the pulse.. pretty lame. I did find a few reviews with charts on them saying that they were pretty solid but still I should have known better. Any how like I said they held up just fine at .5 but in response to the question, no I haven't tried anything lower. Venting toxic gasses is not my bag really lol

the MXJO website, plus some random vendors on the internet. I just searched Efest 18350 10.5 15c on google along with MXJO 18350 10.5 15c and got a lot of stuff one after another saying it was 15c. now, that is not exactly hard evidence but it is pretty convincing to me. some vendors even make a point of saying, "these are 10.5 amp continuous" i'm gonna get two of the efests on monday and i'll put em through their paces and tell you what i think. and no, i'm not gonna blow myself up :)

30 amp 18350 batteries? You've got to be kidding, right?

Was my exact reaction. One of the FB groups I was apart of a guy made that claim. We all thought he was full of it, but he posted a video showing the battery. Apparently a small handful went out for testing but the battery failed longevity testing by a mile.

I have had a pair of Tensai LC18350HP batteries.

I don't know if they are the manufacturer of these but it seems likely. They have been tested and charted here: AkkuDB

The Efest purple 10.5 was a also tested: AkkuDB

The two look very similar in testing.

I see that the MJXO website has a 50 unit minimum order for their 18350.

I don't use 18350's for my all day battery as I would need half a dozen a day. I do like that there seem to be a growing number of choices out there however.

Lots of places have the Efests, though I personally would only buy one that says it's the continuous rating. Some say pulse, like illumn.com. There very well may be two different Efests out there, one that's 10.5 amp pulse and one that's 10.5 amp continuous. Or maybe it's just listed as pulse in some places because they know that the specs for the 35 amp 18650's are overstated and just assume these are, too. (Though the 35a thing isn't really Efests fault IMO, the LG's they really are say 35a all the time. They are just putting down what LG says.)

I fail to see your logic above. LG has said all along that the LG18650HE2 is a 20 amp continuous discharge rated battery. LG18650HE2 2500mah 20 amp battery.

It is clearly all upon Efest as a company who chose to market this battery as their own and to advertise the pulse rating instead of the continuous discharge rating, which is the industry standard. Efest does not make a distinction that this is the pulse rating. Since the vast majority of manufacturers and resellers use the continuous discharge rating, consumers can be easily deceived into thinking that the amp rating is for the continuous rating and not the pulse.

This is why I say pulse ratings are :censored: ! It's hard enough to know how to pick out the right battery for a mod without mislabeling the battery specs.

I didn't say continuous. Though I misspoke when I said they are putting what LG does. I more meant they are copying what they see the LG is advertised as being capable of. It's not on the LG spec sheet like that, but I've often seen the LG's advertised as "35 amp maximum discharge" on various online vendor's websites. It never says continuous, but it's there quite often, just use google. The Efests rarely say 35A continuous, and I've never seen them say they are a continuous 35A by anyone other than an uninformed dealer.
