I have a kbox platinum 60 watt. I got this mod through a trade and I've already had a battery in. I usually Vape between 20 and 25 watts. 25 is usually my Max and rarely do I go higher then that. What is the best 18650 IMR battery to purchase for this setup? I've seen some good prices online where I can get a pack of two batteries for like $10 but I don't want to go and do that unless I know they are safe to use
60watt mod at under 30watts usual usage, then these 3 models will work.
Samsung 30Q 3000mah
Sony VTC6 3000mah
LG HG2 3000mah
you'll benefit better with the longer runtime the Mah rating gives, all 3 are about 20amp Continuous Discharge Rated so ample room for safety.

Suggested you buy at least 2 to 3 batteries for that single battery mod, at least a 2 bay external charger (Nitecore i2 2bay as example), and add into the purchase at least a 2bay battery case to transport spare charged batteries in (never carry batteries loose in a pocket or purse, all it takes is a set of key to touch both top and bottom of a battery and disaster follows). Only use the USB port on your mod to charge batteries in emergency situations when away from your dedicated charger.
Link in my signature line has a blog with more battery info, also do a search for
@Mooch (he's our resident battery tester and has a dedicated battery blog with tons of more battery info),
@Baditude would also be another good blog to read as he has a lot of valuable vaping info for novice to advanced as well. Welcome to the board and good luck, any more questions, just remember the stupid question is the one never asked here.

Note also, do not buy batteries off Ebay or Amazon, way to high risk of getting fakes and clones, not to mention off brand re-wraps, Big 4 battery manufacturers everyone buys from are LG, Samsung, Sony, and Panasonic/Sanyo
