Are these batteries safe for my mechanical mod? ( Efest IMR 18650 2600mAh)

After I got my mod ( KM2 from fasttech ), I kinda just bought a pack of efests from ebay. I've been using it for a week with no problems, but I just want to be safe using batteries because of the horror stories I hear. With my mechanical mod, what would be the safest batteries to buy?

These are the batteries I bought: 2X New Efest IMR 18650 2600mAh Gold 3 7V Rechargeable Li ion Battery Flat Top | eBay

Are my current batteries safe to use? If not, which should I buy? Can someone recommend me 18650's and 18350s I should get in the future?

yes they are as long as you aren't building coils

if you do build your own coils or if you just want the safest batteries go with 30a like these

It depends on if you're trying to use low and sub ohm builds. They are definately not ideal for builds under what a regulated device could do.

like danimal posted above efest now has 18650 batteries that are great for mechanicals. they are purple wrappers so they are easy to identify, only place I know that has them listed on their site at the moment is 101vapes. other great options are the sony vtc4's or the aw imr 1600mah's.

as far as 18350's I personally dont recommend using them in mechanicals.
