I keep reading that they state what's genuine and what is not. However, I don't see genuine used in their sale pages anywhere. Where are people finding these statements?
I did see the word authentic on One brand of battery, but none of the others. I also noted that several, if not all, of the round batteries do list a manufacturer. From all reports I've seen, that's a good sign to their authenticity.
Ahh true... I took authentic to mean genuine. They do authentic with the ch's. If you read the discussion under the pd's, you will see a staff member that states the person that put them up did so without using the authentic "tag" by mistake. Bad business practices? probably... I don't doubt this happens a lot in China. My wife's father used to spend 3 weeks a month working in Japan... His stories are scary and funny. Usually though the staff, geek and Lydia are helpfully, albeit slow.
Apparently they use cloned mods and cloned human beings. I try never to judge anyone. If i feel something isn't right I walk away. One thing I do not like is being swindled. For some reason, I think US vendors have the prices marked up a ton and we are being taken.. I have no proof just my gut feeling.. which could be wrong. Most of it comes from 5 months of buying liquid at 15-20 bucks per 30 mls. When I can make the same stuff at under buck including the bottle which I do not buy bottles in bulk. Putting in the fact I have no idea if they are making it out of the toilet.
I tried many of the high end liquid sellers. I filled one tank and usually can not finish that tank. I still have 30 mls sitting on the top shelf of the cupboard. Luckily I am tall and my kids are all a half a foot or more shorter. I can't try before I buy. I can't return the liquid.
I would rather waste 15 bucks on crap for china than 45 bucks on crap from the US. Please don't take that out of context.
From what I can tell. Companies make these batteries and send them out to distributors who then re-wrap them with their own labels. My guess is the are like computer chips. All the chips come of the process. They grade them and then sell them based on the performance. My guess is the batteries come off the line.. The manufacturer test them then sells them based on that test. I wish I could find the post of a reseller that order X brand of batteries and they came from X company with different brand labels in the box - straight from the manufacturer. From what I remember it was a major one too.
