Hi, I just ordered a Silver Bullet a few minutes ago.. now I need a battery... I want to use these at 3.7volts

was hoping there'd be a sticky here or something so i didn't have to make a new thread.. but anyway

I liked ordering from Lighthouse so I'd prefer to go there.. but I have no idea which one is the best.. or the terminology and stuff

Welcome to Lighthound, Inc. - Cree LED Flashlights, Lithium Batteries, Lithium Ion Batteries, Li-Ion Chargers, LED Flashlights, Leatherman Multitools, Spyderco Knives and more!

here's a link for the 18650 batteries

thanks

EDIT: i'm assuming the "AW 18650 Protected 2900 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery
AW 18650 Protected 2900 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery" is best ?

am i correct when i think the higher the mAh the higher it lasts?

thx cddz, ordering now
I have been using the AW high drain. Never really looked at those ones. With a 2C discharge that would be more than enough current to supply the LR atties. Hmm I think I may order a few of those as well. Would be nice to get more than 10 hours :)

what's the difference with high drain? =( should i have gotten those?? i want long battery life... but i could sacrifice some battery life for better performance

EDIT: what's really important to me is that the voltage stays consistent really... I hate it when my 14500 is just an hour off the charger.. i can really tell the difference when the voltage gets lower

oh and i like my LR 306's... not sure what ohm though as i'm still experimenting

Nope, the high drain is only 1600mAh. I ordered 4 of the 2900mAh batteries that night, should be here monday. I was just saying I had never looked at the 2900's. I think you made an excellent choice :)

I would like to ask a question about those batteries. I noticed that the 2900 mah batteries have a nominal listed voltage of 3.6 while the 2600 mah voltage lists a nominal voltage of 3.7. Would the loss of .1 voltage make a difference in the vaping of my dream machine the silver bullet for an additional 300 mah. I know with low resistance we push for every little point for that higher voltage.

the specs on the site say 3.6V nominal.. the label on the same battery from lighthound that is sitting right in front of me says 3.7V on the sticker(just like in the picture). Not sure which one is correct, but these are some of the highest quality batteries out right now(LiCo2). Redilast are up there in quality also, tho I haven't tried those.

After using the AW 2900mAh batteries for a week. I must say they are full of win :). It is nice to more than 10 hours from a battery again. The internal resistance is a wee bit higher than the AW high drain, but the performance is on par !
If the Silver Bullet creator is using the AW 2900, who am I to argue :)

They are flat top batteries, the top may be recessed a bit too much. Do you have any small magnetic spacers? I know an easy way to "raise" the top of the batteries, but I would never recommend anyone do it :)

bleh no i dont. thx for the tip. when i buy these, do i put the spacers on the negative or positive end?
