So Ive switched from a 4x 18650 mod to the dual 21700 geekvape blade. My mah/battery life is pretty close with the dual samsung 40t's which are 4000mah/30a each but would like a little more longevity ( I hate changing batteries mid day and dont want to carry spares to work)

Im running a pretty mild setup in my asgard rda..... small gauged dual claptons @ .43ohm/45w / 4.4v / pulling 10amps.
So I think im safe to assume the 5000mah 21700's would holdup well enough even though they are only rated for 10a continuous discharge each, Im only pulling 10amps and running 2 batteries in the blade so wanted to give a pair of the 5000mah 21700s a try.

Should I go with the samsung 50e's, the Imren 4800mah's, or the efest 5000mah 10a's?
Do you think they would last noticeably longer than my samsung 40t 4000mah batteries im using now?

I’d go with the Samsung cell. I always buy LG, Samsung, Sony, or Sanyo. The make their own batteries so you can be sure they are what you think they are. Because the rewraps can switch c low at any time with zero notice I avoid any of them as a general rule. Big 4 cells are usually cheaper too, although harder to find, so I see no need to buy rewraps ever. Good luck with your quest to squeeze some extra runtime out of your mod/cells. These opinions are my own and do not reflect the opinions of ECF or any of their subsidiaries.

.43ohm/45w / 4.4v / pulling 10amps.
Resistance is irrelevant at regulated mods.
You can calculate current draw using this formula:I=P/number of batteries/Vcut off/0.9
P= the selected wattage
V=cut off voltage (usually 3.2 volt)
0.9=cpu average efficiency

At 45 watt you are pulling 7.8 amps from each cell when batteries are depleted near to the cut off voltage of device.
The best option is the Samsung 50E2.

    I don't believe the MAH ratings until Mooch has bench tested a cell and published his official rating.

    Samsung 48G is one of the latest Mooch approved cells that's in production now. It's rated at 10A, but at 4800mah the MAH rating is about the best of the 21700's he's tested. Most of the rest top out at 4000mah, but with higher amp ratings.

    Whoa..”approved”? Most certainly not. The 48G is one of the worst performing ultra-high capacity cells.

    I don’t know what Efest is rewrapping so try the 50E. I recommend staying below 15W-20W each for the best performance, 30W-40W in a two battery device.

    @Mooch
    Oops! My bad! I went back and edited my previous post. I missed the fact that it's not really a 10A cell. I was shocked to see that you found it in to be in the 3 to 4 amp range.

    I found that 10A rating in one of your earlier tests done in 2017. I glossed over the date on that review and didn't look for a newer one.
    Bench Test Results: Samsung 48G 4800mAh 21700...rated 10A, about equal to Sanyo NCR20700B
