Might be the only change on them are the larger diameter holes for wicking.
True, the did go to bigger holes not that long ago. The ones before the cotton coils last year were those ceramic mystery wick material that scared folks since some said the material was disintegrating so aspire went to cotton.

You might want to take a look at the Goliath V2 - it has an RBA deck and accepts pre-made coils, but it's not a sub-ohm tank, per se. I opted for the Goblin Mini just for aesthetic reasons, but I think I'm gonna pony-up for the Goliath too. The deck is easier to build on (bigger and no offset air channel) and the pre-made coils look really good, although they're on the pricey side. Check out PBusardo's review on YouTube.

My carto tanks are over 4 years old and still work like new. Why should I waste money on something that MIGHT work?!?

I did modify my tanks a little shortly after I got them however, to make sure they always get proper air flow.

I threw a fit when that tank had no air flow on my first Provari.

I own 2 510 Kabuki's. Both have no issue with the connection.
They do not spit/gurgle...not even a tiny bit...also no leakage what so ever.

I mainly bought them as replacement for my Nautilus Mini because I like their look and size better, and because the airflow is better. As a bonus for me my GF still uses Nauti's so we can share the coils :)
The taste is a bit better than the Nauti, my guesstimate would be about 20%.

I recommend them, but they are a bit pricey.

I will keep the Kabuki on my want list!

I just got the Sense Hydra the other day, which is definitely worth looking into. 1.8 coils that are rated 15-50 Watts.....it's insane. Might even be too much for me. I'm finding 20W to be good. Sort of a warmer vape that you can mouth to lung. I'm still messing with it, but so far it's a great cheap one to try. Just note only holds 2 mils, but might be the easiest top fill I've used, so it makes up for it.

I'm actually finding that I might be ready to move to 1.2 coils. The Beast Silo vapes really well with it, but leaks too much. Hopefully some other 1.2's will come out soon for future tanks.
