Best alternative to cartomizers for a KGO?

So I've been using a KGO and have been exclusively using cartomizers, but they've been nothing but problems for me. Filling is messy, oftentimes the cartos are just dead on arrival, etc.

I'm looking for an alternative, ideally something that makes filling easy. I'm willing to sacrifice a small amount of flavor/vapor for an increase in convenience and less messiness. I've never used clearomizers before, but those seem like one option. What are my other options and what models would you guys suggest?

Thanks!

i the like the EVOD, with the air holes drill out to 2 MM.
looking at the AeroTank, seems like a good option.

ever tried Boge cartomizers? never seem to have problems with these boge brand cartos Odyssey™ Boge Single Coil Cartomizer
i get about 4 days of heavy use 15-20 ml out of these cartos

Yes, unfortunately I have tried Boge cartomizers and that's the reason I don't want to use cartomizers anymore :p. More than half of the cartos I've received have been defective.

I would say that clearomizers are a good next step. I have switched to the Aspire bdc's and really like them. They are easy to fill, produce a good amount of vapor and the flavor is better than other clearos I have tried. If you want to move up to a tank a lot of people like the protanks and then there are the new Aspire Nautilus tanks, which I have recently switched to. They work very well, in my experience, and put out a lot of vapor and great flavor. The tanks are a bit expensive but I managed to find one for around $27 so you just need to shop around a little. Of course both of these require you to buy replacement coil heads but it is worth it to me for the improvement in flavor and vapor. The coil heads can last for weeks. If you start with the Aspire clearos they cost about $10 each and you can get a 5-pack of heads for about $11.
I am sure you will get lots of suggestions here but thought I would let you know what has worked for me.

I'm here, when I'm here
Oh, the memories...Started with the KGO myself. Went to itaste vv and then to the itaste MVP. I save my KGOs for back up of my back ups. Still use my evods that I got with the KGO but also have Mini Pro II's, iclear 16's and a iclear 30. The 30 is the easiest to fill, IMHO, but the others are not a pain either.

Hope this helps and Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

Geesh, where have you been buying your cartomizers? I've had maybe one dud out of 50.
