Greetings,

I've been vaping with an istick 30W for about a month and I'm ready for the next step, I'll buy a Yihi SX Mini soon.

Could you please recommend some good batteries? my primary concerns are safety (obviously) and battery life. I find that my istick battery runs out quite quickly when vaping over 20W; would it be possible to get better results at 20W with a Yihi SX Mini and a good battery?

Thank you!

I'm using an Orbtronics SX30 battery in my SX Mini M Class. It is a 30 amp battery (some say that it is a relabeled Sony VCT4) but it is only 2100 mah. If I am vaping on this alone, then the battery just lasts me one day. The Samsung 25R is a 20 amp continuous discharge battery, but it has a 2500 mah capacity.

I plan to use them with the Vaporshark Kanger Subtank OCC Nickel Coils, can't find any other option for temperature control as I don't wanna go into the RBA world yet.

These resistances are set to 0.15 ohm, I believe the SX mini can peak at 85W, with those coils I'll be needing close to 24A, which is higher than what the Samsung 25R can deliver, am I right?

nope! SX will go to 50J i think in TP mode, 60W in VW mode and 80W in pass-throigh (ie mech mode). Even then, the calculation doesnt work because the resistance of the ni coil will invrease as temp increase therefore the current will be much lower than ohms law would predict in the resting state. There is a whole thread on the SX in the temperature control sectiopn of the APV forum. Check it out!!
