I vape my wismec DNA at around 65w for around 14 hours then at 80-100w for around two hours then swap out the batteries with what looks like 20% life left

batteries I am using are hg2's

Do you think that's reasonable or should I expect more life?

I have 6 married batteries two sets

What you running in yours? And what you getting from a charge

Which lg do you refer to I use lg hg2's 3000mah currently

Brain fizz, sorry.
I actually use a Wide variety of Batteries. The Hg2 is my most recent interesting Battery. Works great for my, and the wifes, Mid level Mods. VTC-Mini, IPV-mini plus. I use Samsung 25R in the rest with exception of the SX Mini M Class which is running Sony VTC5

I Trust ALL of these Batteries to do the assigned job and they do so nicely.

@Boden I'm not sure what you are trying to say as the second scenario in your example does not exist with this mod. With the batteries being run in series the difference in mah is 500 not 1500.The original statement made it seem like the 3000mah batteries would give you 1500mah more of runtime and that is simply not true.3000mah batteries will give you 500mah more of runtime in a series setup

..........and yet the Op is knocking down 16hrs @ 65w+, - effiency, on 2500mAh 18650's. o_O
Not going to argue Physics. Never was or will be an EE, but Calculating Mechanical output just doesn't seem to work in a Regulated world.
12.6v is Available, not necessarily Fixed or used.

Anyway, you engineers go ahead and turn another simple question thread into another huge discussion on electronics.

its not rocket science, its the most basic of equations. And everyone vaping should know the BASIC calculations to ensure safety.ESPECIALLY when we are talking about 200W mods.I am sorry but if you dont know the difference between running batteries in series or parallel then you SHOULDN'T be giving battery advice...its that simple.Sorry to be so blunt but this site has all the info you need in one spot, just takes a few min of your time to educate yourself, all the hard work is already done

Assume you are responding to me?
First, yes I know the difference and spent 40 years working in DC electronics.
Second - I was responding to the user and considering Run time, not Extreme power output, per Ops usage.
Third, nothing in my post had anything to do with Risk/Safety of using said recommendations.

I can assist in removing that stick if needed. :sneaky:

i would agree thats pretty good going

in my DNA i use the same HG2,s and also have some HE4,s the HG2,s last the longest of the two sets

i would say i get about the same around that sort of power usage give or take a little its the 100w + that pulls the power out of them but thats expected .
i know my mate puts his LIPO DNA,s on charge well before i do .

I have a an online customer service background and I really HATE online pissing matches and hijacking threads is also no good.I had a whole response but its just not worth it.if we are supposed to believe someone working with dc electronics for 40 years doesn't know what running 2 or3 batts in series is, then I'm not gonna bother.Sorry to the OP and carry on :)
