Best Battery Charger?

I've got my Kanger Subtank, got my sigelei 100W Plus combined with some Efest 2500MAH 35A batteries, now only missing puzzle piece is the charger.

I had my mind set on the Nitecore D2 but reading some reviews on here, saying I should steer clear of these. Whats the best choice with price point in mind?Looking to spend under $30 if possible.

Hi there. I have been very pleased with this charger. Had great reviews and I love this vendor also.

Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

added. . .

As stated by Mowgli, I agree the first one I had did have sticky sliders but the new one does not. I only wanted another on so that I would have a good backup. I don't think it is cheap feeling at all. It is plastic but very nice. Just thought I'd throw that in. There are many good chargers I am sure. This is only my own experience.

Here are some user review at Amazon.

I found the Intellichargers cheap feeling and the sliders suck. They're cheap and feel like a toy.
I used them for a year because I'm stubborn and hate spending money to replace something that kind of works.
I PIFed them and bought an Xtar XP2 and a Luc V4. The Luc is good and the Xtar is great.
I highly recommend the Xtar XP series or the Luc if you'd like to save a few bucks but still want a tool instead of a toy.

Any Xtar. If you get them from a dealer they come with a two year warranty - and in general places don't offer a two year warranty if they don't expect them to last at least... two years.

Take a look at buying directly from Xtar's USA site www.xtardirect.com for possible discount pricing. VP1 is great for up to 18650, but if you are using 26650 then you need a VP2 or the VP4. They have offered the VP2 for $29.90

If you really need to low ball it check eCigSupply - they had the Xtar WP2 II in their clearance section for only $9.99. Don't know if they have sold out yet. Not digital display, but it's still a great charger.

NiteCore - too many complaints about failure on ECF. And now the reports of the LUC individual charging bays failing in short order are coming in. First you lose one bay... then a couple weeks later another one fails... Just crap.

That sucks. I did my homework for a few hours before buying one.
My Google Fu is strong so this must be a new development or a bad batch.
Mine's been flawless for a few months.

There was a coop open for Xtar chargers - it's done and over at this point but the thread is still open. That's what people reported there and why they are replacing failing LUC4's with Xtar's. Hell, people were losing additional bays while waiting on the Xtar's to arrive.

I've also seen a smattering of reports on ECF elsewhere about LUC4 bays failing. eFest seems to be in the 2nd rate battery business and the practice is carrying over to their chargers.

Looks good but doesn't it need a spacer for 18350s & 18500s?

Yes, it does. Still a good quality charger, though :2c: Some of the older Xtar models do, as well.

I have an Xtar WP2 that is maybe 2 years old now, still going strong. That one needs spacers for 350's (fortunately it came with them ;-) ). I've owned a Pila, as well, and based on my experience with both brands I wouldn't hesitate to buy either one again
