Possible job on monday woot!! So ill have money soon experieced vapers tell me your favorite battery mod by far best price and performance im currenltly looking at a sid mod battery 18650imr 2000mah. I wanna hear all you thoughts. Its price is $80.

That is a lot of money for a said.

An evic (with more adjustability and a built in charger) is $80 online.

I have a said and an evic.

The sid feels more solid but has issues.

Flakey fire button, center pin needs constant tweaking with the sid.

The evic; well,

Feels cheap in your hand. Flimsy. Works great. Very adjustable. No glitches. Built in charger.

So the solid feeling sid is flakey and the flimsy feeling evic is solid.

I'm my mind the evic wins but I wish the sid did.

So does the evic run low ohms? HCigar VW Nemesis Clone can you tell me your take on this mod

The evic will not sub ohm. It is a 2.5 amp regulated mod that uses a 18650 battery.

It has a USB port to allow firmware updating and charging. Joyetech also has software to chart your vaping.

Get some thing mid range until you have more experience.
SVD, SID, VAMO, ZMAX

Look for stainless steel option. If you want to go cheap that's the chromeplated brass option you can get a vamo like that but the metal is soft. Someplaces you will get the tube plus charger plus batteries.

If you can get an MVP for $40 its' a good buy, but it is a battery, however it is a high capacity passthrough battery; best bang for the buck out there in batteries.

the higher cost ones are like VTR and EVIC.

Then there's the Provari.. and theres a few others we don't hear much about here ..
anyway a provari would be like 250 - 300 bucks and the darn thing is 510 thread only and VV only - no VW.

I have a vamo and a zmax.
between the two, I like the feel of my steel zmax in my hand compared to my vamo which is a chromeplated brass version.
But the vamo, I like the modular construction of it, plus there are 3 buttons - easy to change wattage, to read battery voltage and resistance.

and, in case nobody mentioned it yet in the NEW MEMBERS FORUM, sub ohming and mech mods are not perfectly safe, friendly business.

Just getting a mod using Lithium ion batteries, and even just the simple eGo batteries come with a need for caution towards battery safety. These batteries are not pocket friendly, and not stuff you want to leave lying around unattended.

So the evic would run sub ohm with updating? How is the vaping with 1.5ohm

The evic will not sub ohm. It will not fire a coil below 1 ohm.

Works fine @ 1.5 ohms.

Lots of info and reviews out there but it is Not a mechanical mod. It is vv & vw, regulated and has the same limitations as most other regulated mods. It is not for sub ohm use.

Translation ---------- Spend a whole bunch of money on things that won't do what you're wanting.

Really? Is that the best advice you can give? No effort at all put into giving him what he actually wants, tell him to spend a bunch of money on VV mods that won't do what he wants?

To the OP. The ONLY thing that's going to provide everything you want is a mech mod. Now, as far as mech mods go, that Hcigar mod is absolutely fantastic. Great mod, especially at that price.

Building your own coils and subohming can be very dangerous. It is EXTREMELY important that you know what you're doing if this is what you want to do. I cannot stress enough the importance of safety when subohming. To that end, you need to read this:

I appreciate your help alot knowing and giving a great reply. I guess itstjime to start reading alor lol any suggestions besides that?

Do your research! Knowledge is good. The best thing you can do starting out is to learn as much as you can before spending hundreds of dollars on gear that may or may not do what you want it to.

There is a lot of jargon tossed around in these forums. Learn the language.
