I have a sigelei legend and looking to get a new battery, what would be a good battery to buy for my unit?

I honestly don't think you will notice a difference in your vape on a legend. On a mechanical.. that's a different story.

I thought mine was a mechanical it's a vv n vw n with motion sensor. Actually how do you differentiate a mech or non mech?

a mechanical has no electronics, no screen and can not be adjusted. You pop the battery in and vape off the unregulated voltage of the battery.

Your legend is regulated, there is circuitry inside which lets you adjust volts and watts, there are usually limits on these devices to about 6 amps. So throwing a 30amp sony vtc4 in a regulated mod really wont do much if its only going to pull 6 amps. Another difference is in the coils you screw on top. The regulated devices usually have limits to what it can fire, usually between 1.5ohm and 3.3ohm. A mechanical can vape just about any resistance as long as its safe and you use a proper battery to supply enough current.

Get a Sony vtc5, yea you don't need the high amp limit but the extra 500mah you get (over a AW IMR) is never a bad thing.
