What would be the best battery for a t6 box mod and could you recommend a brand as well as should it be unprotected or protected?

Yep - those are the top choices - PLUS, don't go buy them on eBay, please - they'll be fakes.
Go to a reputable vendor - most recommended is probably RTDVapor.

Currently using Panasonic 2900mAh 10A in my regulated mod.
LG H2 in the mech mod.
Got some Sony clone batteries on the way.
Cant find a post on anyone whom tried these.
Just going to see what up lol.
I have a ohms and voltage tester and will be monitoring closely.
If they dont work I will get rid of them.
Hold my beer and watch this lol j/k.
Curiosity killed the cat hum thingy going on.
Thinking of trying some AW's.
Got a chit load of batteries already.
Keep us posted, like hearing reviews on batteries especially.

eBay Amazon and b&ms would NOT be a good place to buy batteries. Rtd vapes or illumination supply buy from the manufacture, so no clones.
All batteries have knockoffs afaik. I don't waste time trying to find the cheapest battery... Saving those few dollars could cost you your vape hand and face if you aren't careful.

You want authentic high drain IMR batteries with a continuous amp rating that you will build under. It is not recommended to use the pulse rating as there is no standards with these tests, so each manufacture tests differently.
