best beginner rta?

Looking for an rta for my gold alien was looking at gold tanks but now something black would work

Been eyeing this and a the limitless gold

I really want something black or gold dont even really dont want any silver

anything with velocity style deck should be good for beginners. I dont have any experience with the battlestar RTA, but probably take a look at OBS Engine, so far it's my favorite tank.

The Battlestar is a so called GTA like the Troll or the Mage, which is quite popular nowadays.
They are quite easy to build on, but yes, the OBS Engine is a little easier, as it cannot leak.

Cant go wrong with a Kangertech Subtank mini.

The Subtank Mini has definetly earned its place as a reliable tank, but recommending it is a little bit like recommending a VW Beetle from 1950 to someone who wants to buy a car today.
Although it does its job well, don't expect the luxuries of a modern RTA.
