Best bottom firing mech for the money?

K100 would get my vote.

I can't speak to the Segelei mechanicals. I can say for the money, a Kamry K100/K101 is a tremendous value. I've had the K101 for about 3 weeks now and am thrilled with it's performance to price ratio.

^I agree, they work great out of the box.

I would say the sigelei 19, BUT ONLY if you don't mind tinkering, and already have the tools in your possession to modify it. You would be spending money on a lot of stuff otherwise.

I have a k100, never use it, don't like the feel of it in 18650 mode, and I always use 18650 batteries.
So with that I bought a Sigelei Telescope #20
Really nice, good quality

Yesterday I order the Sigelei Telescope #19
Bottom button, look forward to getting it in a few days and testing it out

My 19 worked perfectly out of the box. I didn't mind the magnets, but saw they could be popped out. If you have pair of pliers you're all set to get those magnets out. There isn't much cost involved.

Why would you want to take them out?

People replace them with brass "things" (brass screws (requires drill tap set for bottom cap), nuts, or anything that fits) to reduce voltage drop in the #19.

Is this important to do or not?

For people who are chasing the perfect vape, it is important.

I do not know the average voltage drop of the sigelei 19 but it is somewhere tenths value (0.X).

Since voltage is decided by the battery on mechs, some people just don't like the lost of voltage due to the body containing not enough or high quality electrical conducting materials, like brass.

I.E. people with mods with high voltage drop may lose .7 volts, so with a fully charged battery you're getting 3. 5 volts instead of the full 4.2 volts (I just took .7 volts out of my head for an example)

People say it is noticeable in the quality of the vape, depends how bad the voltage drop is.

I have to agree. I've been using a K-100 for 6 months and just received my K-101 last week. I love the simplicity. And if you throw in a kick it will perform outstandingly. It's my daily carto/dripper. And at less than half the price of a Segelei, you can't beat this deal.

I'm not crazy about the ribbed look of the K100 .. I'm sure it's a great mod but personally I don't like the style of it.

I've heard the build quality on some of the Sigelei's are atrocious so that is kind of scaring me away now from buying one of those.

I read a review one of their mods involve a brass colored paint on the spring that drops a full volt under load and the #20 doesn't look much better.

I guess I could replace a few parts to get it to work but I'd rather buy a more credible mod that doesn't involve tinkering.

I'm thinking I like this one but with all the money I've been spending on mods I think I'm just going to wait a month or 2 as it is very expensive and I don't spend more on mods and liquid then I used to on cigarettes. My budget is about $300/month and I've spent about $600 in the last month and a half so in a few weeks I'll be g2g if they have it in stock by then.

If you want a PV that will last forever and is a piece of art as well as solid piece of gear look no further than the Super T Precise ELA. It has a new telescoping mechanism that cuts down on voltage drop and allows for battery changes in literally seconds with no threading. This PV also has rhodium plated contacts which will never corrode or require any more cleaning than a wipe with a soft cloth. I absolutly love mine and it have regulated my Provari to a backup device. Ther are less than 20 left available for preorder.

Super T ~ ELA

They are expensive now but the price is set to raise after the preorder is over and after recieving mine I believe they are worth every penny and more

Bottom buttons have been around for a long time. In fact the very first "mod" that you could buy was a bottom button. (Screwdriver).
My first bottom button mod was the Mako, they also make The Don. All three of those are made in the UK. My Mako does everything I want, so I haven't even bothered to look all that much at other bottom button mods.

My personal opinion about Sigelei's is that they are to involved with trying to make to many different bottom button mods instead of perfecting any one of them.

Hello fellow New Yorker! In my haste to add my :2c: I did not notice that we hail from the same state. If build quality is important to you, know that Super T products are 100% made in the USA and the owner, David, is a complete perfectionest; he will not let one of his products go out the door unless it is absolutley perfect in his eyes. All ELAs are hand assembled and finished by him. I'm so happy with mine and know that it will last me a lifetime.
