I'm looking for a box style ohm meter. I know some of you will recommend a fluke or a normal multimeter, but I am not interested in those types. I already have PV's that can read resistance, but I want a box mod for the convenience of building on top of it as well as serving its function of a reader. Can anyone recommend a decent one around the $20 or under price range?? Thanks!

The only one I've try is a Tobeco (TOgether BEst COorperation). If I had known it was from them, whether they actually made it or bought it from some other manufacturer, I wouldn't of bought it. I don't care for anything they produce or have for sale. I think their stuff is JUNK.

It reads ohms but it is 1.2 tenths off on the plus side from what the same coil reads on both a Provari and the 2 Vamo's I have. So basically it is just about useless. It is OK to build on but I have added a couple of thread adapters to raise the KF base higher off the box.

I also have a kayfun from them and I have never used it as the threads are terrible.
