Can anyone recommend a very good quality atomizer besides Stingray? I want to stick with a brand that has an amazing reputation and great build for the internal stuff, but I can't find any Stingrays higher than 2.8 Would need a non-punched, open-bottom atomizer (for the Vision Aurora.)

Normally, I'd go ahead and settle with 2.8, but even 2.8 has a bad result with the chocolates I love (haven't tried the Stingray version though), so I'm thinking 3.0-3.2 bound to be safe as all get-out. Was recommended to try 3.0 at 3.3 for chocolate vapes. But if I could even find a quality 3.2, I don't see what it'd hurt.

But... the only brand I hear any real good things about is Stingray. Everything else seems a real hit or miss.

I had a couple of those house of vapor stingrays recently. They were OK. - and 2.8 ohms is as high as they make them.

Cisco (Avid Vaper) sells 3.0 and 3.5 ohm 510s that I'm very fond of.

Edit/Add... You did say you want a non-sealed bottom. If my memory serves, the stingrays I had were sealed bottoms. I'll change my recommendation if you are needing sealed bottoms.

Well, Stingray seems to make one open-bottom version, but with looking into it more, I think it only comes in 1.5. It's the combo that PB used in his review of the Aurora, and everyone with an Aurora has tried them and they seem to have great reviews (if anyone's interested... I haven't found a bad review of them yet, and most regular old atomizers seem to come in DOA in many a user's experience)

About the Cisco's, what type of internal model do they have going on? Bridgeless or no? I actually haven't thought about what internal model might work best with the bottom-feeder, but I'm wanting to stay away from extra internal material as as much as I can. And whew @ $8's an atomizer. I sure hope super-high resistence will really sing the chocolate vapes I'm desperate to get.

P.S. The Cisco's photos on the website show an open bottom so the recommendation still may work great, unless they've changed the make. Any info on this?

Also, I'm trying to decide between the 3.0 and 3.5 with the Cisco. Would trying a 3.5 on a 3.3-4.8 VV harm anything? It probably wouldn't create any vapor at 3.3, but if burning is my issue, I'm wondering if that's the best bet.

Then again, I'm still out to see wether chocolate juices require a tremendously low power level or an extremely high one. I don't know wether the burnt tastes I'm getting with chocolate is immediate gunk on the coils from too low power, or if too high power is simply causing the chocolate flavoring to taste burnt in the vaporization. 2.8 coils at 3.3 seem to destroy chocolate juice, but I don't know wether that means it's too much or too little heat.

Please, please, please, help me out people! If this thread was about praising a Protank, it'd have 195 replies. I know someone on this forum vapes chocolate juices!

Well, I haven't tried any of your equipment, but I have tried many different types of coffee and chocolate flavored liquid. In my experience, I find that in order to lengthen the amount of time before the gunk on the coil starts producing a burnt flavor, I need to turn DOWN the voltage on my equipment. Hope that helps.

I Vape Halo Belgian Chocolate in carto tanks on a Provari.

Yes, they clog the cartos very fast.
I was using Low Res cartos 1.8 to 2.0 ohms, with either 2 big prepunched holes, or slotted cartos.
Recently I switched to sr cartos. They are testing out at 2.9 ohms, and I find I can vape the chocolate at much lower voltage than I expected. Much lower. I normally vape at about 8 watts, and now I only need about 6.2 watts for it to taste great and give me plenty of vapor.

I am starting to go towards higher resistance in general now.

Can't give you any info about dripping attys though
