I've been playing with my box mod recently, and it's fantastic to be able to hit the sweet spots with my favorite BWB juices. 95% of the time, this is fantastic, but sometimes (usually involving alcohol) I want to "feel the burn" and get a stupid amount of heat/vapor/TH. I've noticed that most don't hold up to higher voltages, so far Virginia is the only one that doesn't taste better under 10 watts. I can crank it to almost 6V without destroying the flavor (boge 3.0). What other juices do well when pushed past the limit?

Thanks!

Also kudos to Don for putting up SR 510s. Thank you sir.

I've never really understood the hole HV thing. 12 watts IMHO is way way to high. The reason folks get a better TH at that range is probably because the are smoking their juice and everything else in the carto/atty rather than vapping it. I think the reason that some brews vape better at higher voltage is because some flavors "hide" the burning taste better than others. Crank up some Menthol flavors and you'll see what I mean.

I quit smoking to benefit my health and I'm not about to start again. LOL

If i want to feel the real thing i just go and do it lol (smoke on special occasions ) ; i keep at 4volts or a bit high when the battery is off the charger and when it goes lower than 3.7 i just change it but i have try higher volts and to me they change the profile of the juice some much that in some it feels like a completely different juice but to me taste burned and not in a good way..... I guess some of the more complex juice shine better at higher volts have you try conumdrum ?

I'm not talking 12W everything is awful at 12. Would rather not do analogs my wife will beat me senseless. I just mean anything over 9 usually ruins the flavor, but the virginia seems to shine in the 10-11 range (more/better flavor) whereas casa, ry4, conundrum, OF, etc. lose flavor. The real advantage of VV though, IMO, is to tweak up the voltage on old atties/cartos where the resistance creeps up, or dial in to the sweet spot on different juices (OF needs a different wattage than casa in my experience)

EDIT: Thanks, I do like conundrum better at higher voltages now that i try it (SLIGHTLY higher)

Well now ya got my curiosity up with the Virginia. I don't know if I've ever cranked it up with that brew. I mostly have my Casa on my Provari so maybe it's time to try some Virginia with it. lol
Agreed on the VV benefits as well as not having to worry about the ohms of each and every atty or carto. Just dial her in and vape away!

Oh.. and listen to your wife whether she beats the snot out of you or not. LOL Never go back to those nasty things.
