Well, just got another BackWoodsBrew delivery today with 5 new juices I wanted to try. Man...getting vape supplies from the mailman is like seeing Santa on Christmas eve. Tons-o-fun opening a new package up.
Anyhoo, here's my impressions:
Casablanca - This juice is absolutely outstanding! Wow! Nice, rich Turkish tobacco base with a hint of spicey sweetness. This will definitely be one of my go-to vapes. Anyone who is after some new tobacco flavors should not pass this one up.
Hunter's Blend - Again. Wow! A little less rich tobacco taste than the Casablanca. More American tobacco mix with a really mellow vanilla type flavor to smooth it out. Another go-to for me anytime, anywhere.
555 - This is an interesting one that is a notch down from the first two...not in quality mind you...just personal preference in taste. This version of the tobacco staple is very smooth with a spice/lemon/nutty undertone (to me anyway). Leans a little more to the spice/honey than the nut. In any case, a very good rendition of this very popular juice. I definitely recommend you try it. This will be a frequent vape for me.
Smoke - Another hit with me. Smokey tobacco with a tinge of sweet nuances. More of a pure tobacco flavor than the others yet still has a very slight sweet undertone that will prolly mellow even more later on. Another frequent vape contender.
Malty - This one...hmmmm...undecided. Didn't have the BAM! taste right out of the bottle like all the other 4 did. Not bland but not robust either. Didn't taste much malt but it's there with a bit of honey type sweetness as well. This one prolly needs to steep since I can tell the flavor is back there waiting to erupt. This one seemed a bit thicker than the rest too (they're all the proprietary 70/30 PG/VG ratio) so not sure if it's the flavoring that caused this or not. Might thin out some after steeping. We'll see.
These are the second batch of BWB juices I received in the past week. I'd like to say that Don mixes some incredible stuff. Every single one of the 12 juices I received tasted very good right out of the bottle which is quite surprising. Exception was the Malty. Don't get me wrong. It was still good...just subdued. The other eleven were thrashing by taste buds at the onset. No stale, bitter, or chemical tastes whatsoever with any of these juices. NONE. As usual, the BWB stuff produces good vapor. No complaints there since the 30% VG really helps in that department. Throat hit was not devastating but I'm on a 3.7 VaporKing. Nonetheless, it was there and making some noise. When I get my ProVari...this will prolly be a different story. When it arrives, Imma get my leetle momma to strap me down in the Lazy-Boy, have 911 on speed dial, a 5-gallon bucket of water ready...and hammer these new juices at 5 and 6 volts like a maxxed level berserker on crack. Should be quite the adventure. If Hunter S. Thompson were alive when this occurs....I'm sure he would be proud as a papa for me.
KUDOS to Don and BWB! You've got a hardcore customer here brutha! New orders for backup will be in order ASAP. Now...get that RY4 online so I can try it and those Applewood & Honey Flue Tobackys that I'm starting to run low on!!
