Ok. loving my Ego but just starting to try different stuff. so far for flavor dripping seems best but IS a little inconvenient. got some joye cartos which are quite good as far as vapor but just seem to "airy" in the draw.

I see some people using 808s with an adapter? Are these better enough in someway to justify spending money on adapters instead of just using one of the available 510 caretos? Seems like carto refilling is a little bit of a pita reguardless but to get a good draw and a consistently longer period of use without refilling maybe it is worth it.

Would appreciate some opinions as to what the best Carto (even if requiring an adapter) is for use on an EGO (that will work with the cone in place). I like the somewhat stiffer draw of the atty/cart/cone combo on my EGO but if I can omit dripping for a carto that lasts so much longer between filling I would like that combonation

feedback appreciated.

On my Joye E-Go, I like using the Bogetech-510 cartos with a shorty trip tip for look & feel.

There is also a new LR-510 Boge cartomizer available as well...... Both are newly available at a pretty good price HERE from a reliable ECF vendor.

So far, the are my "go to" on both my E-Go and my FistPack. <<- The standard I mean, as I haven't gotten my mitts on the LR ones yet to try.

Another vote for the Boge 510 low resistance cartos! Love them on my eGo!

Heck yeah Dooter, the Boge LR 2.0 ohm cartomizers are fantastic on the Ego. Keep them wet and they will last a long time although eventually they will develop a hard draw due to use.

litecigusa.com and Altsmoke.com are two places I know that carry the Boge LR cartos. Altmokes are labeled as "Yeti" but are in fact re-branded Boge. I'm sure there are many others as well but I have dealt with these two and both are great companies.

I was like many others who tried the Boge 510 cartos first. They worked fine. But then I bought some KR808D-1 premium cartos (at litecigusa.net) to try them out. Found that they produce more flavor and less hissing (or sizzling; not the same as crackling or gurgling), so I switched to using only the 808s about a month ago. The adapters are not that big of a hassle; just have to remove it when the battery needs to be recharged. It's worth the extra little hassle for the extra flavor and smoother vape that they produce (compared to the Boge 510 cartos), and they're only 99 cents each at goodprophets.com. I only had to turn the round connector on the adapter about two full turns to the left, when the connector is even with the adapter end, to bring it out enough to make a better connection with the round connector on the cartomizer.

Overall, I've had less problems and a smoother, more flavorful vaping experience using the KR808D-1 Premium cartomizers from litecigusa.net. I bought 12 more boxes of them on Thursday, so I'll have enough for about three months. I'm currently rotating the second set of 15 808 cartos, which can be refilled about 20 times before they start producing less flavor.

I don't find the draw on the 808s airy. The draw is smooth and exactly what I would expect. I prefer them very much over the Boge 510 cartos, and that's why I switched to using only KR808D-1 Premium cartos from litecigusa.net. Not any other 808s, though. I bought 11 boxes from another vendor, they were a little smaller and turned out to be defective (four of the first seven cartos I filled were defective with a burnt flavor, as if the wiring was bad). So I recently returned those 11 boxes and bought 12 boxes of KR808D-1 Premiums from litecigusa.net. The flavor is better with these cartos, compared to the Boge 510. And I was getting hissing or sizzling sounds when vaping the recent batch of Boge 510s (which lasted for the entire drag, and it was annoying to hear the hissing or sizzling sounds all the time). I don't have that problem with the KR808D-1 Premium cartos.

I bought several 99-cent adapters (and 99-cent metal tapered drip tips) from goodprophets.com and have been very satisfied with my current setup:

1) 510-battery to 808/901-atomizer adapters
2) KR808D-1 premium cartos
3) metal tapered drip tips
4) genuine eGo batteries

Yes, to me, it was worth buying the adapters. (I have 11 of them.) I haven't come across any defective KR808D-1 cartos, and the adapters have been working fine (after adjusting the round connector on the adapter counterclockwise with a small screwdriver to move the round connector out of the adapter as far as it will go and still be able to screw on the cartomizer). This adjustment is needed to get normal draws and vapor; otherwise, the draw will be hard with little vapor.
