I'll have to compare my Harbor Freight, Northern Tools, and my Simpson Digital with each other. They made me give back my Fluke 87 when I turned in my toolbag and retired.

My boss actually told me that as long as there was a working company issued meter in the bag he was fine with it. I was going to sub the Simpson and keep the Fluke, but I couldn't find the Simpson. I later found it in my file cabinet drawer. They let us keep the Simpsons when they changed to Fluke.
Most of the Fluke 87 meters I've found on used and tested sites are over $100. It's way more meter than you need around the house or for atomizer rebuilding. Unless you need to catch a pulse or read a frequency, it's overkill. I think they list new for over $300.
A good Chinese meter is fine for
ecig use and anything you'd need to do as a handyman. You just need to be able to read the lead resistance and subtract it from the coil reading.
