It's been asked, I'm sure.. But as of now, I'm looking into an rba as my PT2 is just a ....* on my Provari. Anyway, I've fuddled with my brothers rba before (AGA T1). I'm wondering what's something a bit better to use in that price range? (I'm looking about $20.00-$40.00). I've done little rebuilding, but not afraid to dwelve deeper now as I've come to that point. Any suggestions?

Non-dripping preferred, yes. I've seen that posted all over here. Is that different from the Russian 91%? Or is the Kayfun a clone of a R91? I'm noobed to the gills about these. Lol

Yes. The russian 91% is a copy of the kayfun lite.
Apparently, somebody who worked on the original kayfun redesigned it and came up with the russian.
They are very similar.
But, when they designed the russian 91%, they added air flow adjustment. Something the kayfun lite didn't have.
I don't condisder the russian a clone or counterfeit, like a lot of the stuff that comes from places like fast tech.
It is a high quality piece and is worth the 90 or so bux you'll pay for it.

That said, there are clones of the russian as well as the kayfun.
Those you'll pay 20-30 bux for direct from china. Or 35-50 from ebay and us vendors.

If you don't mind a clone (which I don't) I would check out the kayfun lite plus from 101vapes.
Its about 32 bux and has some improvements over the regular lite.
Such as improved fill screw machining and air flow adjust.

If you want cheap to try it out I'd recommend an igo l or igo w. I started with the igo l, found it was pretty easy to build a decent coil and then picked up an rsst. The genesis style atomizers leak if you don't keep them upright, so I bought a Russian 91 that came in today.

The Russian is a copy of the Kayfun. Considering you've got a genesis style RBA already, I'd definitely suggest the Kayfun. I'm a bottom feeding RDA guy myself, but I borrowed someones Kayfun and used it off and on for a week awhile ago. They are extremely popular for a good reason. People absolutely love them, they all can't be idiots for doing so now can they?

1.) Easy build and maintenance.
2.) It's a tank system.
2.) Clones are of very decent quality and affordable.
3.) Flavor and vapor production is pretty damn decent. (not as good as drippers, but I'm being picky and offering a subjective opinion here)

Sounds like you'd enjoy it considering your criteria...

My RSST has never leaked. I'll never understand why people say that...

My experience with RBA's and thick wire, your Provari will be very limiting. For fat wire and low ohm coils you'll need a mech mod and good batteries. Once I got into RBAs the only action my Provari got was checking resistance of coil builds. I ended up selling it and most of my other gear to buy more Reo's and BF RBAs.

Do you leave your fill valve closed? The gasket for wick also helps you not get leaks. I don't know of any other genies that have that gasket to prevent shorting.

On the Cobra, the fill hole is closed with a screw that needs a hex key . It's a PITA to have to remove it every refill, but with the screw left in, there's no leakage even when the Cobra is upside down.

The EA Nebula tank has an insulated wick hole. It's not at all in the cheap category, tho.

My Kraken don't leak. My Agas do. I leave the fill hole on the Agas open, so that's my own fault. Fill hole is huge. The Kraken has a more clever design with its tiny fill hole that (many) liquids (usually) won't leak out of.

Just sharing my personal experience. I left it laying down in my drawer of vape-goodness and came back to a juicy mess. I think in order to get it to not leak, you're wick setup has to be perfect, or you have to leave it upright. Most beginners, like myself, will probably not build one perfectly on the first few tries. After my experience with the Russian last night, it seems like there is a much lower probability of it leaking.
