I normally smoke parliament ultra-lights. I switched to e-cigs about a month ago. I've been using the crappy ego-type clones sold at convenience stores in NYC. In the last couple days I have, embarrassingly, gone back to regular cigarettes . The reason I went back to the analogues is that the e-cigarettes I've tried simply do not produce enough vapor. I can't seem to get my nicotine 'fix,' even if I use relatively strong e-liquid (16mg). The vapor production is fine for the first day or two, and then it declines. I would like to go back to e-cigarettes, but I need one that produces a LOT of vapor.

Here are the brands I've tried:
Haus
Eon smoke,
Sigma

Thanks!

What kind of a budget are you working with? Are you looking for a tank or a drip set up? For A tank set up I recommend the CoolFire 1 and then you can get a charger and a couple batteries. Youll be around 80.00 but its so much better then just an ego. And the tanks are easy to maintain, you just order some coils and replace them whenever the old one is done and its as if its a brand new tank again. For drip set ups, i dont have a clue. That is not my jurisdiction haha

Get a 30 watt Istick and an Aspire Atlantis tank and you'll be chucking a lot of vapor for under $100. The new Joyetech Ego One kit also chucks with the .5 Ohm coil. The hotter you get your coil and the more air you push around it, the more vapor. RDAs (drippers) allow you to push really high wattage power levels and have larger airflow, so they give maximum vapor. But there's a learning curve as you need to learn how to wrap coils, cut and insert cotton wicks, check resistance levels, and understand battery safety. And you have to manually apply juice every few minutes - e.g. re-drip.

I'd begin with the Atlantis or Kanger Subohm on a 30 watt Istick, and then work your way into RDAs.

My budget is around $100, but I'm flexible.
To be honest I don't know the difference between a tank and a drip set up. The types of e-cigs I've used have had absorbent wicks leading to an atomizer (is that the right word?). I guess I'm open to either one - the primary criteria is vapor production. The CoolFire 1 does look impressive.

Don't get a Coolfire 1 if you want more vapour.. :)

Hang fire here mfurlend....

I'll be back. (Got to grab my Vape!)

With Vapor production, I would try to find, depending on availability, if you can get a higher VG mix. With tanks I find 60PG/40VG is a good spot as far as juice wicking to the coil and producing vapor and throat hit. Also, there are stronger nic mixes out there depending on what you usually smoke. I was 1-2 pack a day smoker for 28 years and started on 18 mg/ml nic strength. It worked quite well but then I had some strong urges to light up again and went to a 24 mg nic and it would curb the urges a lot better. As you go, you will find that we are not here to scold you if you smoke as well as vape. Remember, the more you vape the less analog toxins get into your body. I smoked and vaped from end of July until November 11th 2014. As the days went on, it was easier to enjoy the vape more as the analogs started tasting more and more like crap. On your battery, if you have a variable voltage or variable wattage ( vv or vw) you can increase them and it will produce more vapor. As coils wear down you will also notice the vapor production go down as well as with the batteries running low. I recommend having a few batteries as one runs low, put it on the charger and use the second battery. I would recommend the mvp 2.0, mvp 20 watt or the soon mvp 3.0 as you can adjust the voltage or wattage. They have a good battery life and I would pair it with a Nautilus Mini BVC. More people will chime in on there suggestions. do some research as well.

I got the coolfire 1, but i did only move up from the basic ego and seen more vapor from it and more flavor. But then again, i know theres another world with huge clouds that i haven't even ventured into yet, but that day will come soon

Like I said (I think I said) the Coolfire 1 is a beauty... it was just the O.P. seemed interested in going down the 'more Vapour' route.

Personally, I'd go down the 'more Nicotine' route.

or, could go both.. ??

I've used a few different personal vaporizers. I didn't get the satisfaction with one of the cigarette style vaporizers and was not able to quit smoking when I tried them. With the more sophisticated set ups I put down cigarettes cold on 11/18/14 and have had no desire to buy or smoke a cigarette though they do smell good when someone else is indulging. I was a smoker for almost 40 years and this has shocked me as much as anyone else.
I think you would not be disappointed by an Innokin itaste clk. The vapor is great. It allows you to control the voltage. It's about $40. It's a nice size so as to not to draw the attention of others and it has a lanyard, so no worries about it in your pocket. Just tuck it under your shirt. Good luck.

Thanks for all the replies guys!
It looks like there are quite a few recommendations for the Aspire Atlantis + Sub-Ohm battery. I'm trying to find a vendor for the bundle. I found it on myfreedomsmokes. Is there a different vendor you guys would recommend, or are they all pretty much the same price?

I ordered mine directly from Aspire. Turned out to be more expensive and shipping took for-e-ver. Don't forget a charger! The Aspire charger is so much quicker than your standard ego charger.

I have the same experience until I switched to the Aspire Mini Nautilus. If you don't want to spend 30 bucks for it and plus you need a good battery which will run you 20 to 30 I did like the EVOC which I believe run about 7 bucks. Now I may smoke one or two cigarettes a day but they taste nasty to me and I actually like my ecig more. Hope this helps.

Just about anything will be a step-up from what you're used to. Even if you go the route below, you might consider an economical, yet functional kit like the below as a backup:

https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/starter-kits/standard-voltage/evod/kanger-evod-bcc-starter-kit.html

Something like this is honestly just fine while you get your feet wet going from cigalikes. Much more vapor and options, and compatible with something like a mini protank or glass 510 atomizer for caustic eliquids. And you have basic redundancy builtin for $25.

The next step up from that is a cheaper box mod and a tank system with replaceable coils so you aren't having to mess with stuff. For a battery, I'd recommend looking at:

- Smok xpro m50/m65
- Clouper
- MVP 20w
- istick 30w

Out of those, the MVP is generally the most reliable but also the most limited in wattages -- but the only one that does step-down voltage so that it's compatible with more basic tanks (it'll often taste burnt otherwise). Most of the tanks you'll be looking at won't need more than 35w, and most except the Atlantis will be fine at 6-15watts.

A few tanks:

- Protank 2 / Mini PT 2: A favorite for multiple reasons.
- Genitank: Economical, generally works well.
- Nautilus: Some love them, but their coils are really hit/miss.

If you have a cloupor or istick or smok and want to really blow clouds, you'll be looking at these:

- Eigate Aspire Atlantis: These work well, but I can't recommend these right now until they sort their coil situation properly. They've said they are switching to cotton from fiberglass after lots of pressure, but haven't given an ETA. I'll point you to this thread which you can skim to better understand the issue and make up your own mind:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ficial-statement-atlantis-coils-material.html

Aside from the whole fiberglass/ceramic paper thing, the only real downside to it is that it doesn't so as well as the subtank at lower wattages, so it blows through eliquid quickly. Since it has a smaller eliquid resevoir, that can get annoying.

- Kanger Subtank: Vapor is about on par with the atlantis, having much more at lower wattages but just slightly less at say 35w, and can even be used on the MVP/MVP 20w, though at 1.2ohm it'll be hard on the battery. Considered to have better flavor, and also has a rebuildable tank module to turn it into an RTA.

The only real downsides are that (1.) it's 28mm, so it's really large, and (2.) some are reporting that with the rebuildable tank module (not the coils, this is where you wrap your own coils) the insulator doesn't handle severely caustic eliquids well.

Dude, look at my banner! I quit last week and although I've been chain vaping a bit (started my nic level too LOW) I have only had 1 analog! I tried one tonight and it tasted like shi...doo doo :rules:
I bought an MVP 2.0 and a itaste VV 4. The stock tanks kind of suck (especially the I30), but the kanger aero, Aspire K1 and the Kanger aero are all good and giving me clouds as good as analogs (better probably). I know you want clouds, but unless you are ready to learn Ohms law 100%, slow your roll brother! The kanger sub is good because it's really versatile, but I think the Kanger or Nauti is a better starting point. You can run out and buy the sub in a few weeks/months. You'll save enough on not smoking by then...Oh, unless you catch shinyitis...Uh..all that glitters ladies and gents!!!
