If you press switch on edge does it bind or crunch?
Is switch smooth as a well oiled machine or a little scratchy?

It was initially a bit crunchy but after a day or so it's been smooth. Shortening the throw of the switch by tightening down the negative contact also helps because more of the switch is inside the cylinder when you press it, making it more difficult to bind. If you're way off it might not make contact with the battery, but it's not an issue for me.

My nemesis clone was a little rough with side presses etc at first but I did some mods (shortened the brass mini-pin, polished the switch post, replaced springs with magnets) and the switch throw is a solid 7/10 now. Not the best, but a LOT better than where it started. It doesn't bind or crunch anymore but the throw is a little longer/lighter than I would like, and I don't like that the switch wobbles a touch.

Also it still had the crunch/binding after the mods I did, but after using the switch for a month or two it's totally stopped doing it.
