I have a question.

Are you guys looking for a "black" coffee flavor?

Or coffee with cream and sugar?

Fantastic thread, but I'm still looking for coffee. Not vanilla or carmel with coffee flavoring, or watered down McDonald's coffee flavor. Robust, deep bold coffee is what I want.

The biggest problem with finding your 'perfect' coffee flavor is that 'coffee' is so generic. Even if you separate the espresso drinks from the coffee drinks & the flavored/additives (cream, hazelnut, vanilla, etc.) from black coffees, there's still a wide array of flavors out there. Even for the black coffee aficionado's out there, go look at the selection of whole bean coffees available. French roast, Italian roast, Sumatran, Kenyan... there's dozens of varieties & roasts, the flavors are across the board & most people only like a handful of them. There can't be a universal 'perfect' coffee, but there can be a lot of good suggestions... and some good excuses to order something from a vendor you've never tried out before. :) Happy hunting.

My thoughts on Good Life Vapor's 925... its not bad. Smells like a cup of fresh coffee. As far as the taste goes, it tastes like coffee... not much else I can say about it. Slight chocolate/burnt flavor? It could probably use a good steep... but I think coffee vapes are just not for me. I haven't found one thats blown my socks off and honestly I don't think there is one. I like drinking coffee and I like coffee flavored ice cream but I don't think its something I can vape.

I am still very new to all this. I ordered a sample pack from Good Life Vapor. Zombie Blood, High Five, Deadly Sin and 925. Deadly Sin is very sweet. 925 smells and tastes just like strong black coffee to me. Now, I like my coffee hot, sweet and white. I added some Deadly Sin to the 925, I am loving it.

I just bought Free State Vapors Co-kona-nut.. It's delish! Great flavor, a nice rich coffee with a toasty coconut and a little hint of vanilla. A great combination.

That's the next coffee I'm going to try. It's been on my list for a while, and I'm finally down to it and I can't wait. I'm so glad to hear more good things about. I just hope I like it.

First thing I vaped this morning. I really like it. It's is a light amber juice and not a coil clogger either. I will say this, don't vape it while drinking coffee. I just made a pot of freshly ground French Roast and it overpowers the taste of the juice. It was a nice, rich coffee vape until I started actually drinking coffee.. now all I get is toasted coconut, which isn't bad, but.. I am only going to vape it without coffee from now on.. I switched to creme brulee with my coffee this morning, now that's a treat!

I had high hopes for Indigo's 5 Bucks but it was a huge let down. It was not for me at all. It smelled skunky and tasted burnt. That was even after a long 1 month+ steep. GQ's Caviar and Ahlusion's Kent's Blend are still my favorites.

Yeah that one seems to be a mixed bag. I like it, but I don't get any coffee from it. Never got the skunky/burnt thing though. I sure wouldn't put in the "top coffees" category, and I'm a HUGE Indigo fan.

That's kind of sad :( But, my coffee tends to overpower most juices, so it's nothing new. I'd love to find a good coffee juice that does pair well with real coffee, though.

For me it works because my morning coffee is great and is better paired with a complimentary flavor. The co-kona-nut is a nice coffee flavor treat for me when i'm not actually drinking coffee. This way they aren't in competition. Real coffee will always win. If I were eating fresh raspberries, for example, I wouldn't be vaping raspberry e juice at the same time, i'd probably choose a nice creamy vanilla, or a spearmint, etc. So for me, it's a winner in that respect.

Edited to add: That is the "ahhlusion" part in a sense.. it's meant to give the illusion of the real thing when you don't have the real thing. If you have the real thing, there is no illusion that the other is not the real thing. The basic premise of vaping instead of smoking analogs I guess. It works the same for flavors beyond tobacco for me too.

I hate to say it as someone who's always taken my coffee black... I'm with Michelle on the W&V. The Wake n Vape is a bit pricey, doesn't taste like anything that would ever be allowed in, around, near or even allowed to look at my coffee cup... but it's become a daily morning vape for me. It's a vanilla latte flavor, but it does go really nicely with black coffee in the mug.

I'll have to look into that one. I'm not sure how I feel about flavored things in my coffee, but as a vape...who knows, maybe I'll like it.

I was real skeptical at first too, but it's a very nice compliment to a real cup of coffee.

I get it from here. It's still up there with Murdock prices, but it's definitely worth a try. Since Michelle was raving about it, I just rolled the dice on a 30mL bottle (to save on shipping, since they don't offer anything else I'd ever want). I don't mind paying premium prices on juice if they're worth it & this IMO is worth it - you're not getting an ok ECBlends bottle or a muted flavor. The other nice thing is it's not an ADV so you can stretch that bottle out over a good long time. You'd have to hunt back a few pages to see when I got mine, but I've been vaping it every morning since & I've got a full 5mL tank & between 1/3 & 1/2 of a bottle left.

If a Montanan who's been drinking black coffee since he was extremely young likes it, what do you have to lose? :)

Nice. They are a couple bucks cheaper than anywhere else I found which makes it a touch easier. Hope you enjoy it. I'm still vaping on mine this morning, but getting ready to switch over to something else for the day.
