I won't pretend i understand what you are trying to say :) ( i don't really understand the BT link you bring up again ) , so this is not a response to your post per se, nighthawk.I was just trying to correct the misconception that njoy is big tobacco, don't really care if anyone buys their products.

In general though, njoy makes and markets disposables, rechargeable cigalikes, and eliquid for open systems. The liquid the op is trying to find something comparable to, was an open system liquid ( and the best coffee liquid i had tried out of dozens ). Njoy is also responsible for saving the ecig market in 2009/2010 by suing and winning against the FDA, when they wanted to ban all ecigs and seized large shipments of merchandise from China.

NJoy didn't save the industry all by itself but was one of several that sought out a joint suit where the judge in Federal Court ruled the FDA didn't have the authority to see a complete ban on imports which was what the FDA was doing by detaining shipments from coming in for any vaping gear in general until the court ruling that ecigs were not medical devices.
To keep pursuing ecigs and vaping in general the FDA then decided to label ecigs as tobacco products due to nicotine and continue to promote the false hype that nicotine is as addictive as ...... which in actual science is totally false! Big Pharma pushed that originally to sell nicotine substitute products which mainly don't work for most!

Now as for the various eliquids out there often especially with cig alikes the juice made specific for the brand of ecig is what will usually prove to work out best while independent juice supplier provide eliquids for all types of gear which means all the varieties of tanks, mods, batteries, APVs, etc. and why when moving out of the low end beginner type cig alikes into better gear recommended for those who were moderate to heavy smokers you will find the stuff you may thought to be bad will in fact vape far better instead. Hope you can understand that.
As for any particular flavor(s) or vendor(s) each will automatically develop their own preferences over time. Likewise by the number of different coffee flavors being pointed to on this thread so far you can get the general idea about personal preferences quite a bit! One example is taking a particular that doesn't seem to quite make in on 20w or higher in sub ohm tanks but will vape fine at 11-13w on an Aspire Nautilus tank with a 1.8ohm coil. Still have a few of those older tanks in use for sampling as well as custom mixing to test ideas a bit here.

I would like the strong but not sweetened part while I likely wouldn't be going with anything NJoy anyways! I gave Big Tobacco enough money over the years!

As has been pointed out to you, Njoy is not BT. Nor even close to it.

There are, of course, some who feel as you do, because of the "over-politicization" of vaping, will miss the main point (at least it was when I started vaping) is to get people off cigarettes, i.e. to save lives.

(What a shame to see that 4 years later, we now have vapers dictating to other vapers what they "should" and "should not" vape. )

It's okay to have a preference. YOu can buy what you want.

What is not okay is to spread misinformation. NJOY is not BT, and never has been. And, just so you know, thousands of people have gotten off cigarettes by using vaping technology available to them, which is a good thing.

Read here:
cigalikes - anything good out there?

It saddens me greatly to see that the original idea of vaping, i.e, saving lives and getting people off cigarettes and combustibles has somehow gotten LOST in the last few years. :(

Guess I should tell people I know who use Njoys and {gasp} Blu systems to just go back to smoking. (because they do NOT wish to buy anything larger than a cigalike.)

I had people trying out disposables, cig alikes, and even getting into slightly better eGo batteries when you were still only seeing 1.6ml single top coiled and SMOK Tumbler tanks that immediately dropped vaping entirely.

One complaint was about finding most flavors tried as being "Syrupy" and have since found when certain tanks or juices won't vape up fully but linger around you end up with a slight dripping problem at the air holes as well as drip tip. None have been willing to try the MUCH IMPROVED gear seen since! :(

The largest panic driven fear at this time is with the FDA trying to hit back hard and the fears of being limited to Big T cig alikes with serious limitations on flavor options and needs to look at Black Markets to get things. Yet certain senators have been stepping up to the plate lately in opposition to the Grand Father law the FDA is still trying to impose! The FDA was overruled back in 2010 from a complete ban and this new reg forcing independents out of business has met with some sharp political opposition lately!

Now as far as getting people off of tobacco entirely or at least seeing a large reduction the individuals also have to want to QUIT! or Cut down dramatically in order for them to even take vaping seriously enough. Here I still lit up six months after first trying the loser disposables and cig alikes I knew would never be enough. And this is why many state they would end up back smoking if the FDA prevails over choosing Big T type limitations.

Now getting back to the original question lately I have taking some regular Tobacco/Cherry, Mocha Java, Tobacco/Rum, and other flavors and custom blending to see not only how they come out but how close to a gourmet coffee flavor I will be able to come up with and making a few suggestions to a regular eliquids vendor as possible new flavors expressing that several are looking for a pronounced coffee flavor Black not Cappacino type. Have someone good that knows how to mix new flavor quite well tasked with this chore and hope to be hearing about something new soon! :D

A friend was telling me about his preferences only with actual coffee when discussing which is a good strong flavored and he came out with using Italian expresso. Coffee by nature however is quite bitter and you will have to expect a sweetener will be used with any coffee flavor. The problem is I stopped adding sugar and any lightener in regular gourmet coffees decades ago!

I would like the strong but not sweetened part while I likely wouldn't be going with anything NJoy anyways! I gave Big Tobacco enough money over the years! Now I go through a regular family run eliquids business and see satisfactory results!

Now as for Mt Baker, Vista Vapors, Mom & Pop Vape Shop, ECig-Charleston, and some others they actually do have some great flavors. The problems I was having when trying some of each one's flavors out was the gear at the time wasn't sufficient! What that means is no satisfactory for Moderate not light former smokers to heavy former smokers who will find sub ohm just getting them where they want to be as far as both vapor production and flavor results to make the entire experience worth the effort over falling backwards!

Unfortunately those old eGo batteries seeing 1.6ml clearomizers as well as cigalikes simply do nothing much for the mod to heavy vapors as well as reflect a bad light on many flavors by various vendors since each brand or source will end up seeing problems due to the type of low end garbage gear in use! The type of gear is what you will find will end up being more of he Maker or Breaker regardless of who sells what flavors while some ratios as well as the flavorings can have an impact as well. Finding that happy balance for one doesn't mean it fits all. Sometimes you swap a tank and there you have it! It could be the exact same or different brand or model tank by same that will suddenly like a flavor you otherwise would have a problem with.
few coffee ideas for you to try:
Wakonda (50/50) award winner for black coffee hit- has tobacco tones
Nine2Five Premium Eliquid - The Grind "the grind" dripper bottles
my personal Fav Coffee is Cafe Sua Da for those that want to get the black coffee taste tones- available from 15ml to 240 ml (priced as gourmet liquid).

None of those are the sweet cappuccino mochianno, or semi instant hot cocoa tasting vending machine type of sickening sweetness.- they're a hit of coffee. Well brewed, coffee- not "brown water" either.
Let us know which you like and what you vaped on.

+1 for Dragon's Brew from EC Blend.
Also Dragon's Cafe from there as well.
AND since you're there pick up some Espresso Shot,
for a bit less sweet.

I quit smoking with White Cloud's espresso, but they
don't sell the juice. Have tried many, MANY espresso's
and the only other one I like besides what has
already been mentioned is Vaper 4 Life's New Espresso
flavor.
Good luck!
Nice thing about Coffee Your Way - eLiquid Flavor EC Blends- they'll allow you to take your coffee and tea the way you like it as if sitting at a checked table cloth cafe- black?,with a hit of sweetner? 1 lump or 2?.... remember all coffee Eliquids tend to run dark- and a wee sweetner for we black java lovers almost takes an edge off. I tend to stock up on eLiquids- however NOT for my coffees! its a problem if we get caught short after the deeming et.al..since I vapemore coffee types than anyother. BUT..some flavors steep beautifully where as coffee, dark already and then add nic- will tend to become a rebuild mandate, or replace coil sooner mandate. Its because fo those properties that so many vendors dropped the coffee flavors- complaints from noobs who didnt understand the nature of darker brews.
Im such a java junkie, I'd build or change daily if it means I'm waking to that perfect hit of brew in the morning! :)
Cheers.

The Wakonda sounds a bit like one familiar flavor only not seeing the Chocolate mixed in. Vertigo

The Grind flavor with caramel would be too close to the Caramel Cap or Mocha Java flavors I am already too well familiar with and refill often enough. The Cafe Sua Da sounds more like something I would be trying out however. The My Cafe Blend by the vendor there has the French Roast type flavoring for anyone who prefers that.

Lately I have taken another Cherry tobacco blend by the same and mixed that up with the Mocha Java plus a couple of drop of Menthol to give it a menthol hint since I tend to vape menthol in everything at times. Replaces menthol smoke which helped in allergy control with Big Pharma crud being prescribed constantly(found useless as well and why I continued to smoke for 35+!) where the expense vs actual results weren't even worth the bother! But I still look for the not so sweet non menthol flavors as well at times. Won't help with summer colds however. :( 24hrs. of nasal... "H"!

:vapor: Thanks Mcal. For many of us here, ECBlends is one of the regular standby's...not gourmet as VapeKitchen but I've never met anyone that didnt dig DragonsBlood at some point in vape history. I've actually vaped all your recommendations so we've similar tastes. THe DragonsCafe, DragonsBrew, and more. Im having a senior moments day...when I saw the request for black coffee ideas had forgotten that ECBlends lets customers add anything from sweet to menthol. I dont want to give them a  (-) BUT>......had the scariest ordering trip with last cart. Like Ocelot, (fellow Provarinati)..I dont order less than $BenFranklin$ worth, especially with deeming/hoarding..LOL! SO, ZIP, ZERO, NADA little padlock on the URL address bar and after "confirm" order, no order # came up..however in my email. there was the confirmation from them. Still unnerving though- even in my Outlook, it showed the email as having failed security, spam and certificate checks. ???? :spam:
I came back here to check and see if any members had recent hijack issues, (not me, never seen any)...But it startled me, as I felt the website might need some vendor certificate upgrade. SO far so good...but ordering online gets harrier all the time. Enjoy your Vape of Java...and add a splash of Tirimisu sometime if you want a sweeter cup of Joe.
Cheers

I'll have to run some of this by my own regular ejuice supplier I have make up some special brews at times. I do most of the menthol taste testing as well as suggestions for new mixes over time. Been slow getting to the black and gourmet not capacino based selection however.
