I am in the market for new mechs. I have had nemmys, magnetos, chi you(yuck), k100's, and a Hana among others. All that I still have in use is my Hana and magneto...I need new mechs....any input would be appreciated :) AND best drippers. I currently use patriots, Igo-w4's and spirirts. I prefer 22mm. Thanks in advance

What about a Copper Nemesis? If you want something different, you might look at BCV, pegasus clones..etc...

On the question if it's truly worth it...that is really up to you, price versus performance..then you know a good clone will do the job..and on quality, that depends..is it worth it. I do in fact own few authentic..I can't say they perform better then my previous clones. I now vape to get my Nic fix and not to collect. If i see a mod I personally like, I still think about it.

So in the end, you have to answer that question.

On 22 mm RDAs I've used:
Magma clone: best flavor I've used, love it..
Tobh 2.5 and above, functionality wise with removable top cap for dripping and easy builds.
Brass Monkee: easy to build, plenty of space, 4 posts, etc

You could look at Plum once you see more reviews by users from the seller's site...there are some many clone RDAs..

For an authentic I would recommend the Nanos by MMVapors. It is one of the lowest price, highest quality mods available. The locking action of the switch is very unique in that it uses six tiny magnets for the locking function as well as the spring function. You only have to "flick" the button with your little finger to lock or unlock.. Only rotate the button 7mm. The contacts are not copper, but Rhodium over silver coated brass which hardly ever needs cleaning and always gives great conductivity.
MMVapors has very good customer service, quick three day shipping from Europe, always in stock and every single spare part is available if ever needed.
They are coming out with their own Dripper at the end of this month. I will be getting the dripper, even though I don't have much detail on it at the present as they have never released a bad product.
I have one of the Nanos and two of the side switch Poldiacs they build and have been very pleased with them and use them daily.

Origen- Great flavor, great vapor, great capacity (~1.2mL version 1...version 2 is a little higher)
Magma- Geat flavor, decent vapor, Great capacity....however, it is a challenge to just drip into a magma..I've found the best method being to remove the top cap for filling...can't really call ~2mL's dripping.
Plume veil- Great flavor, great vapor, meh capacity....

My favorite mech, by far is the 4nine..but it is definitely an ADVANCED users mod. Battery size and atomizer pin length determine your throw...and if you have a leaky 510 connection, you might have a bad time.

The nano looks awesome. Only prob is I looked at the manual and they suggest against running anything under .5. Bummer- I run .24 :-(

That's with any magnet switch...if you super sub-ohm all the time...it will kill the polarity in the magnets over time...I know kid who works in vape shop and runs into this all the time...he told me to put them in freezer to fix it if it happens...that is why he suggested if I hit really vape around .2 ohms and below go with good brass/copper spring. The lowest I go with my .33 and I haven't lose the magnetism on my switches..but then again..I always make sure I can get replacement magnets like for my BCV BFM...those guys rock..they didn't try to rip me off and just sent me straight to manufacture where they bought them from...

I own a Magma and a Plume Veil and would have to agree with suspectK's assessment.

I've got a SS Nemmy, a Phantom Brass Stingray and a Stingray X. Prefer the Rays over the Nemmy. Of course, that might all change once I receive my Grey Bishop.

The 4nine prime is a non-magnet version. It has a normal switch, and it looks like the throw CAN be adjusted at switch... so you're not just stuck with a throw based on atty length and battery length. Those 0.0001mm differences can be noticed with the 4nine.. but it will be longer than the 4nine, since it has a normal switch.

^yeah, I always have my 4nine at 0.2 Ohms.. got it the week after my birthday (April 16th...so go ahead and put it in your calendar;))

But I'd like to play around with magnetic switches at higher voltages... Magnetism, Motion, and Electricity.. you have two of those, you get the other.:)

Magnets are easy to replace. ;)

Just got this from our Chinese friends, it is an absolute beast and an exact 1:1 clone and was a fraction of the Authentic cost.

Do not pay any attention to that statement. That is only in case you would forget to lock the mod and put it in your pocket or such and let it constantly fire. They used to have that statement on the product page and removed it. I guess they forgot to remove it from the manual. I will pass that into along to them so they can remove it.
A couple of my friends use their Nanos mods down to .15 ohm builds all the time and the switch never even gets warm at all. The magnets do not start to lose their strength until around 270 degrees F.
Jim, the owner of MMVapors has told me about a friend of his who runs a Nanos at .05 ohm with no issues.
