Some people (using just a drill) drill their holes pretty quickly. For some reason it took me and a couple friends hours to drill just two 1/16 holes on an igo-w. I used to drill out holes to 3/32 using just my hands and that seemed much faster (but more painful) than using a drill. Is there a certain drill bit that will cut through easier?

High speed steel (HSS) w/8% cobalt. Lots of pressure, low speed, lots of coolant. You're looking for chips, not dust.

Down side... you're drilling a thin wall tube, potential for eminent break-thru and destruction is high.

I think the igo w may be made of some alien technology...
Had the same issue drilling out mine: took it to a local shop, the guy said he would drill it out no problem. ~ an hour and four bits later, finally got two 1/16 holes in that bad boy. I'm thinking of selling mine to NASA for research into the next building material for space exploration lol

Picked up a DeWalt titanium set on sale and they have cut through my IGO-L, IGO-F, AGI, Phoenix and chimbus without any problems. 18v handheld worked for me- no press needed.
I have heard the cobalt bits are better, but were 2x the cost of titanium.

I bought dewalt cobalt bits and couldn't even penetrate the mighty igo-w. Got tired and just went to a vape shop to get it drilled.
