Yes, I finally figured this out ;) I don't get out much and usually don't smoke when I do, so being told I can't use a mod or ecig isn't a problem. Just wanted to check out the alternatives for nicotine delivery. I may just stick the real thing ;)

Smoking may be "easier" but it has many issues of it's own. Including added problems from all the chemicals added, and fire hazards if dropped.

I really wish they had e-cigs out when my mother was still alive. While she didn't have the breathing issues my dad had, because of the MS her hands shook really bad. Can't tell you how many times she dropped a lit cig. It got to the point my dad was concerned if she smoked while no one was in the house with her.

In her case a mod wouldn't have worked, as she would have refused to use it, but a cig alike with prefilled cartos, such as the volt would have been perfect.

If you're looking for ease of use, the disposable cigarette lookalikes are pretty much the easiest. Not the cheapest, and definitely not the most satisfactory, but they're pretty foolproof

In your case, beegolden, a simple cig-alike or ego-style pen with pre-filled cartomizers might be the best solution. I have zero experience with them and can't offer further advice, but I'll bump your post up to help find someone with better insight.
All the best to you.

Thanks @philoshop for your response and for bumping my post. I'll now try to find it so I can subscribe :)

@Katmar - oh yes. The MS Society is a good one. We've participated in a couple of the regional Walks. Not even because of what Arlene is going through, but I've met more and more people who have MS. Everyone is different. To look at a couple of our friends, you'd never have a clue. Their "bad days" are when they are extremely fatigued. Arlene's "bad days" often mean she can't get out of bed, can't walk down the hall, can't get all her words spit out coherently :( She'll start a conversation, and it's almost verbatim what we talked about the night before, but she doesn't remember that.... That's why I was hoping she'd try a bit of nic in her juices, but she does NOT like the taste (and can instantly tell that I have nic in my flavors o_O)

We'll keep fighting, that's for sure :)

Some friends joined us for the Walk last year, and I managed to snag our Mayor to get a pic with us :)
Meant to write what a great picture!! Hope that the Walk generated lots of $!

BRILLIANT! I'm so used to tanks and things that I don't necessarily look for the pre-filled carts.

Also a grand suggestion. I received a coupon some time ago for a free VUSE e-cig. It really wasn't bad (only flavors at the time were menthol and non-menthol)

Thank you :) The ladies in the background are friends from church and work. I think our team generated over $1000 that year. It was an awesome day :)

Brilliant I'm not! But thanks! Just tryin' to help out.

The Tootle Puffers thread has many participants who use cartos and know all the ins and outs. Maybe drop a post in there for more info.
Best,

I sure appreciate all of the support here! I also got a coupon for the VUSE but threw it out. Today I'll call RJR and see if they'll send another one to me :) Glad that you raised so much $!
