:D Hey guys i recently learned about e-cigs one night while reading through a blog, after searching for a crap load of info on it and watching some youtube i decided to get one. So i ordered a Ruyan Classic in Black w/case at RuyanXpress.com along with that i also ordered a car charger, 10 cart. of GREEN APPLE.MEDIUM, and 10 cart. of NORM tobacco.HIGH.
After placing the order i realized i needed some opinions from real people NOT advertisements and people in commercials. So i found this forum and read through a couple Topic Post. Now i need some help if anybody wants to give an opinion on what type, brand, style, or even flavor i should get please tell me.

Welcome to the new world of e-smoking Dan...a bit confusing at first but you'll get used to it soon enough..I'm using Njoy devices and some E-cig devices(testbed)..you're getting the best (RUYAN) and hopefully more reliable because that's what gonna help you in your aim to be a healthier smoker....
As for starters, you are in Heavy smoker range and very switchable(non-consistent) so any tobacco flavoring will help..try out regular or Flue-cured or even Combo(DIY version)..and you need high density or Extra-High(you need to test it out..get some e-liquid) , take it easy and don't overdo it as your device is automatic(no off button there.. ;) )..first 1 to 2 weeks you might get some headaches and dryness of your mouth and tongue..drink plenty of water and mild green tea(helps to quench your parched throat or suck on a lemon flavoured sweets)....you'll explore more as your cravings dig deep to reroot you back to traditional smoking..that's why you'll end up with the device perpetually stuck in your mouth  ..fight you will and you'll overcome slowly the old cravings(all that will take place within the first 3 weeks...or more)
I don't know much about Ruyan but what I gathered is that it is supposed to be the Rolls Royce of E-cigarettes but do keep proper care of your device as reliability plays a big role in your conversion.....Good luck Bud

Welcome:

So i ordered a Ruyan Classic

I would say that you have started with the best one. I have the Janty Classic and the NJOY. In my opinion all 3 are the top of the line.

After placing the order i realized i needed some opinions from real people NOT advertisements and people in commercials. So i found this forum and read through a couple Topic Post. Now i need some help if anybody wants to give an opinion on what type, brand, style, or even flavor i should get please tell me.

As far as flavor - everyone has their own opinion. Some like some flavors, others don't. However, a lot agree that "flue-cured" is a favorite.

I would have to agree with the Doc that the Ruyan is the Rolls Royce of e-smoking. I have 4 penstyles, including Ruyan and Njoy. The Ruyan is definitely my favorite by a mile....not just because of the way it looks, but the smoking sensation is much more pleasurable to me. The Njoy has a harsher feel on my throat. The taste of the Ruyan is smoother and much more pleasant, no matter which flavor of cartridge I am using. Of course, this is all personal, so another smoker might have an entirely different experience. The great thing about Njoy has been the customer service, but I am having a real problem with the Ruyan seller. I bought mine on e-Bay and the seller has been less than helpful. So much for that 5-year warranty.

As far as reliability, I have had problems with both the Ruyan and Njoy, so you have to treat them gently. Take a look at this photo to see what can happen. I can't seem to get it to upload, so hopefully this link will work. This is the atomizer from my brand new, $200 Ruyan V8.

I had only had the cigarette 2 or 3 days before the atomizer fell apart. I had to send it back to China, and now I have to wait until the seller receives it before he will send out a new one.

Hello all, I can't get my head straight on something and maybe you guys can help. Is Ruyan cigarette same with the Janty ? The website to order Janty is RuyanXpress so is it the same brand with different name (European name maybe?). Also if this is true then why is Ruyan more expensive than Janty if you order from their chinese website ? Also has anyone tried the Janty classic ? (not the kissbox)

Thank you,
Michael C.

u can save a little money in the long run an spend the extra cash on a ruyan an not have to worry about broken, or nonreliable units.

I'd disagree. Look at the above link. Ruyan may have high manufacturing standards, but this is new tech, so even they have a high failure rate compared to more mature consumer electronics. So it's best to buy from a local source, for ease of return. Europe and the US both have local suppliers with high reps for quality and service. Use them.

Ooh I'm glad you like the Pro 98. I took my time and did my research and decided to start with a DSE801. I like it just fine and was kind of proud to have "gotten it right" on the first try. I still may switch to something that creates a bit more vapor though. we'll see.

But my friend just ordered the Pro 98 doing not one drop of research! lol. I'm glad to hear he might have gotten lucky and picked a good one anyway;)
