When I first discovered this forum (way back in June 2008...ah, the good old days!) and was doing some research on these contraptions before buying anything, I saw various members going on n' on about their collection (Leaford comes to mind--so does Gunny) and I thought:

"What the heck are they doing?? Omigod, I'll never do that!"

Here it is, 2 months later:

njoy penstyle starter kit
SMARTFIXX Penstyle starter kit, 2 extra atomizers, 2 extra batteries
10 boxes of carts high nic
cigarette case

MYECIG generic white penstyle starter kit, extra battery
8 boxes carts, medium nic

PURESMOKER generic penstyle atomizer, battery
12 boxes medium carts
901B starter kit, extra atomizer, extra battery
4 box mini carts

SMOKEYETREATS 2 atomizer, 2 batteries (black penstyle)
4 box medium nic carts

JOHNSONS LIQUID sample pack, reg size CHocolate liq, reg size vanilla liq

WHAT THE HELL!??!

Yep, in the beginning you will keep buying and trying. Soon you will discover what suits you best. When you find the ones that satisfy you, you'll just maintain those...and buy replacement parts or complete starter kits...whichever comes out to be more cost effective for you. That's what I'm doing now. I fiddle with my devices less and vape more. It sure is nice.

Hello Karen, with what devices did you end up finally and is there a use pattern like pen style mornings and evenings at home and mini e-cig day over?

Been at this for 2 weeks now and have purchased the below

black DSE901B with 25 carts--(recieved good smoker)
classic pen style + extras
(RN4072) with 15 carts--(recieved good smoker)
Ruyan e-cigar+50 refills--(waiting del)
Sedansa diva--(waiting del)
johnsons creek 30ml eliquid choc alm dec-- (nice smoke)
johnsons creek tester pack--(waitind del)

Can someone please tell me this is normal at first and calms down when you find the right e-cig as its getting a tad expensive 8-o

Hahaha.. I just got my first one, and I am already in the process of buying 2 more!! I feel you.. I think this may just send me to the poorhouse, but at least I'll be healthy when I'm there! lol

The kissbox and the 901's. Janty carts, 901 carts, Jane juice, bottle of VG on sore throat days. I'm done. I've got parts and carts and juice supplied, my devices work properly...I am good to go. All I want to do is vape, not fight if I don't have to.

Until something better comes down the pike, I'm gonna stick with what I know. No more experimenting right now.

Hello Karen, thank you for the info!
It looks like I am coming to the end of a long road too and end up with almost the same equipment. My desk looks like a NASA science lab with bottles in different sizes, devices, spares, rows of chargers, dissected atomizers, packs of cartridges, voltmeters etc. Time to clean out and keep only the final selection. :)

My pleasure. Yep, eventually you get tired and just want something that works. After several months you eventually do figure out what works and what doesn't, lifespan and juice flavors. This is when I actually started SAVING money. And it didn't hurt that we finally got some kick-assed distributors in the US. If that didn't happen, I may have ended up back on the cigarettes.

They must be working pretty well for you then. Have you had to get any replacement parts? How long have the parts lasted for you?

Yep not really any complaints here, I've been lucky so far! At first I just got the njoy, and it lasted about 2 months for me, then it died out and I had to wait a week or 2 without a cig, which was rough.. learned my lesson from that and got the Janty as a second cig, so I could have something during the waits if either died

I've received 3, actually 4 including the one I just got (he sent me it for free, didn't ask for one) replacements atomizers from njoy so far in the 5 or so months, and 1 from Janty (I got the janty at about 4 months into my esmoking, so I havent had it very long.) My original Janty atomizer is still rnuning perfect too, I havent even used the 2nd one he gave me yet, but it's nice that I already have a backup.

As for batteries, Janty batteries are still perfect, and I've gotten 3 replacements batts from njoy. My first 2 njoy batteries lasted a surprisingly long time, though. The next few I got have been working pretty well too. I did receive one battery that needed to be pulled really hard on, but they replaced for me

Overall.. since the start i've gone thru (completely dead):

3 njoy atomizers
3 njoy batteries

My other stuff is still kickin. Janty KB Classic has shown 0 sign of weakness yet after a month or so.

On average from what I can see, an atomizer lasts me about 1.5 months, pushing close to 2 months

I am also not a heavy smoker, so I am not surprised mine outlast a lot of peoples who are much heavier smokers. I smoke I'd say about ... 6-8 cigarettes worth of puffing per day, average (a cigarettes worth being about 12 puffs or so), and also I don't take puff puff puff puff puff really fast, I usually take a few puffs, set it down and do whatever I'm doing for a min or 2, take another few, etc. I dont smoke it all the way through like a real cig, not sure if that helps extend the life but I'm assuming it does as its not getting as hot?
