I've heard it called the Q-Tip method. Basically you're just blocking the inner air tube and filling around it

I've found the diameter of the inner tube of a KR808 and 510 carto is just larger than a cut Q-tip (The Go-Go carto has a piece of a bic pen in there) Slide one down the shaft (to stop liquid from going down there) and then fill the top portion of the carto with just under 1ml of liquid. (wait 30 secs or so and repeat for bigger cartos) When a few drips of juice come out the battery end, it's full.

If I have waay overfilled the carto and I know more than just 2 or 3 drops are going to come out, I pop the top off the bottle of juice I'm using and let the carto finish dripping, sitting on top of the bottle.

All the juice that's coming out is dripping from the wick because the filler is fully saturated, not because juice ran down the middle.

Put the cap on, blow out any excess, wipe, and basically it's good to vape. I do usually let it sit for 15 mins or so first.

Works with any carto, horizontal coil or not, just find a stick/Q-Tip/pen that fits in your special variety.

Ta da.

Why would you do this when simply dripping into any Carto is so easy? Not meaning to be a hater or anything but anyone with even limited knowledge of filling Cartos knows that used Cartos when overfilled always leak out some dark colored resin off the atomizer along with some black flecks of atomizer build up. Why would I want that back in my bottle of clean juice?

On top of that if the cartomizer is burnt and has compromised wick tube, the juice dripping back into the bottle will also have a tainted taste to it. Again, why would I want that back in my bottle of clean juice?

As well, what's 1 ml? How many drops? Am I supposed to use a syringe to find out? If I have a syringe why would I bother playing around with a Q-tip?

Whenever I hear the words, "Just blow out the excess and wipe" it tells me 2 things. This is a poor method that wastes juice and this can lead damaging Auto Batteries and Chargers. If I waste 3-4 drops per refill on mess, I am shorting myself 6 carto fills out of 30 ml bottle.

I have to completely disagree that this is not the best, nor the easiest, and certainly not the fastest method for any Cartomizers let alone "all" cartomizers. Nobody like a hater....a person that simply is hyper-critical and offers 0 ideas of their own to address the issue. So I leave you with this.....

I'm sorry, I assumed that most people are smart and would only put a new carto on top of their bottle. Most people get the hang of filling their carto with the right amount right away. Hopefully you won't use your hair dryer in the bathtub. Oh, no wait, it says that on there, you're fine.

Since you can't tell exactly how much juice remains in every used, empty carto, there is some estimation.

You'll begin to recognize how much juice is needed without exact measurements, with minimal juice overage. Used empty Volt cartos will take 2 "top fills" and they're full (i.e. area above filler is filled, let soak in, fill again)

So go ahead, take your time drip filling 90 drops in a 3ml Go-Go carto, I'll use the q-tip method and be done in 3 squirts.

You want a fast way to fill cartos? There is my opinion of the best, easiest one.

i just so happen to have a carto laying around that i cut the end off of to play with.. see that little white thing? thats the part that people are sticking straws,q-tips or whatever in..most have wires running through them and you will notice their actual size..they do not go all the way down the full length of the carto...so you can still flood your carto...its just the nature of the beast, we deal with flooded cartos..lol

be careful sticking things into the carto..is basically what i am saying..cheap parts made in china are not meant for fiddling with so much

Roland: thanks for the tip...ANY idea or method that works for someone may in fact be the next guys 'easiest, best' too. Or the exchange of methods and comms might just actually lead to something new and even better! Kinda thought that was the idea behind a forum...share, brainstorm, communicate, help out, what have you...so thank you.

thats only on the verticals...the tube on the horizontals does run all the way down and gently plugging actually works pretty well. I disassemble and clean the horiz coils all the time but had never thought of plugging the tube to fill! That being said, the tube is only semi rigid so to +1 Bam, you def dont want to put any major force on them or they will kink or ? or could come unattached from the bottom.
