When my first eCig was delivered, I discovered the distributor had omitted the five pack of carts which was supposed to be included. I've contacted them and they're going to make it good. Fortunately, I also ordered a bottle of juice, and was able to use the Kissbox by dripping.

My second eCig (Vapor King) has been delivered. It uses cartomizers, which I find very convenient as compared to dripping. But, I realize they probably aren't the most cost efficient. And, I plan to do some custom mixing of juice.

I also have a 510 in transit and am considering the Screw Driver.

I know carts can be refilled a few times, and that blanks are available.

What I'm wondering is: what are the best eCigs with regard to using eliquids, premixed or home mixed, in terms of ease of use? Is there a cart based system which is super user friendly? OK, maybe there is no BEST, but how about your recommendation?

The past 10 days has been a pretty intense learning experience. And I'm still a LONG way from course completion.

I can't respond to PMs until 10/25/2010 due to a bogus infraction. Apparently, there is no mechanism in place to contest them.

NCC, welcome, and I hope the PM thing can be rectified. I use the 510 exclusively, but the stock cart filler is crap. Mods to the 510 cart are almost mandatory, unfortunately. I use the zero-filler mod now, which auto-drips a full cart-worth of liquid little by little until the cart is empty, with optimal vaping every hit. Highly recommended for a 510 user.

Any PV that is 3-piece is usable with your own juices, as are most 2-piece cartomizer models. Your choice of the 510 I think is very good, since there are so many batt mods available for the 510 atty: the screwdriver, the Chuck, Bartleby, a bunch of them. Here are forums you should look into:

DIY e-liquid - E-Cigarette Forum

Joye 510 - E-Cigarette Forum

But before those, read Don's opus magnum on PVs:

Have fun researching! Vape on!

The most friendly is the Juice box if you have a year to wait for one8-o
Apparently the wait time is 'only' 6-7 weeks. I'm patient, waited 14 months for my car.

Then, there's this review ...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...te-reviews/57119-juice-box-my-1st-review.html
And that is a nice review. But, what's up with this? "it has it's own atomizer...that apparently doesnt need to be replaced."? I guess she meant as often as other attys. From the video it looks like they last much longer. It isn't outrageously expensive. And, I can get custom graphics too :w00t:

The GG Transformer is sure a purdy piece. I can see how a person could get into collecting PVs when I start reading about these devices (looks like I'm on my way :p). The Screwdriver is interesting ... I like the copper one. The RN4072 Penstyle.

And, to think, two weeks ago I purchased what I thought was the only eCig on the market. It's being returned on Tuesday, along with a phone call to the vendor, maybe I can avoid being ripped off for more than the $9.95 I paid for the scam.

Kurt: You posted while I was composing. I have read part of Don's Illustrated Guide, lots of information there and I'll continue to wade through it.

I don't have my 510 yet, it should be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday. I figure there MUST be a reason it is so widely popular! That's why I bought it. Thanks for the tips and links!

My pleasure! With so many people here, democracy does count big! You made a great choice, as you will find out. Enjoy! :)
