Hi all:

I purchased a greencig recently and while i like it, i find myself craving more throat hit. A few carts have had really good throat hit, but they have not been consistent. A med cherry had stronger throat hit than the 10pack box of high western i just bought which has practically no throat hit. Frustrating!

Anyway, I want to try a three part system, but am not intersted in putting a lot of work into my ecigs. Would like a simple process with pre-filled carts. The M series most intersts me, but which one I can't decide - m601/602, M401/402/403 ? I would prefer the device to somewhat resemble an analogue. If there is a nother system that you think would better fit my needs than the M series, please let me know. What i am looking for the most is a good throat it.

Thank you for any help.

I could be wrong, but I think throat hit is a combination of the following...

1) Heat of the vapor = voltage
2) Nicotine content of juice
3) Flavor of juice
4) Brand of juice

In other words, crank up the voltage and you get hotter vapor.
And the juice really makes a huge difference.

I've also heard menthol crystals can really increase throat hit.
And many people add some extra alcohol to increase throat hit as well.
I have done neither of these things so I can't say for sure.

Someone will hopefully correct me if I'm off base.

Thanks DC2. I think you are right. They real answer to my question would be which e-cig with which juice flavor and nic strength to get a good satisfying throat hit. I am not interested in mods at this time because I would like to use the device in public as inconspicuously as possible.

Any more suggestions please?

Sorry for not addressing the threads focus.

I go more for flavor than throat hit inicapem, and at that I prefer unflavored liquids! :)

I get the best TH from either the 510 or 306 atomizer. Those are at 3.7v, and the less VG in the liquid the more pronounced the TH.

Is this a trick question?

No, not a trick question :)

I have seen a lot of people giving advice that one device is soo much better than another one. So my question is simple, if someone things the Copper is better than XYZ at 6volts, I wanted to know why. I've built magnum mods, used manufactured high voltage devices and to be perfectly honest have never noticed a difference between the devices other than, as Silence states, build quality, warranty offering, switch reliability & fit/finish. Some make better choices on batteries and therefore require less battery managment but as far as the actual experience of the vape, I've seen no difference.

Frankly... i asked a similar question the other day and the concensus was that there was no performance difference... 6v is 6v but the real difference comes in warrenty craftsmanship... etc and btw i'm not plugging any of them I haven't even decided if i want a battery mod.

I agree, I think we all need to make sure and clarify this stuff to prevent people from getting confused resulting in people into buying something that may be absolutley perfect for you (not singling anyone out) but nothing near what someone else would want*...

Thanks! I really like how clean vaping tastes and so badly want to get off analogues. Strangely I find myself sucking on the greencig endlessly and not being satisfied to the point that I'm craving an analogue EVEN MORE. I'm using the high strength green cig carts but not satisfied at all. Often end up having an analogue aftersucking on the thing for an hour. It really suprises me because before starting ecigs i had gotten myself down to only about 4 analogues a day plus about 4 pieces of nic gum. I smoke american spririts in the blue pack and lucky strike lights. Never would have thought I need more nic than most people since i smoke fewer cigs.

You may want to try getting a USB passthrough as it is a cheap way to up the voltage to 5v. It is important to note though that USB out of your computer runs at a half amp, while a usb wall adapter, usb power-pack or usb car adapter usually runs at about 1 amp.

Not only will it let you experience some higher volt vapeing but it is good gear to have when at the computer or on the road.

It may not be so much the nicotine as other constituents in tobacco. There is quite a lengthy thread in the Nicotine sub-forum Are we getting...

The upshot is that a large number of vapers, myself included, always find that no matter how much a PV satisfies, there remains, something, missing. The hypothesis by the brains in that thread is that the nicotine in our liquids is just that. Nicotine only. There are several natural tobacco alkaloids left behind during the extraction that may be vital to satisfy that missing "something".

So we chain vape, or go to ever higher nic levels or whatever, but some of us don't get total satisfaction.

You mention how previously you maintained w/ 4 cigs a day along with the gum. It may be those 4 daily cigarettes were supplying the alkaloids needed to flesh out the NRT gum. Those alkaloids are not present in the gum by the way.

A lot of members supplement vaping with snus as a means to completely slay the analog demons. Getting the tobacco with out smoke and the vaping, well, the vaping is the iceing on the cake!

OTD I have thought that for some time now. There must "something" else in analogs that is also addicting. and this is prolly why smoking is such a difficult addiction to break. you are to addicted to multiple things. vape does better than NRT products because it addresses more of the addictions that gum/patches do... I am afraid to find out what else it is that i am addicted to... could be the arsnic? i dont know and that is the problem... but i will beat the analogs...
