Any vv eGo-class battery will be the same diameter as your PT mini, but they won't be as sophisticated as the iTaste VV V3--no variable wattage, no ohms reader, no OLED screen. But many of them will last longer--you can try a 900 or 1000 mAh eGo-C Twist, Smoktech Winder, Kanger eVod, or Vision Spinner. They are all good.

I'm partial to genuine Joyetech Ego Twists.

I've had everything else, these keep working. :)

Menus are nice, but add a whole lotta length to a simple ego batt.

Spinners are good, too, genuine ones.......but the new ones, make sure you get the right charger.....when connector does not stick out enough it won't make contact....the Spinner connectors are deeper than the Joyetech ego ones.

You say you don't like 'huge batteries'. If you mean diameter - that fits the mini protank, then all the above are good. If you want a shorter battery than the VV's like the Twist and Spinner, then the Joye eGo-c upgrade batt is quite good.

It doesn't have the variable voltage like a true VV but it has two modes - one a constant mode where the voltage remains at around 3.4V, and a non-regulated mode that runs at mainly 3.7V. With the right coil, you can get the right Wattage for your flavors. In constant mode, I like 1.8 ohm coils for my stronger flavors and 2.2 ohms for the lighter ones. Using the 650mAh with the protank mini, you get the opposite of a 'huge battery' and about 6-6.5 hours of vaping per charge. The eGo-c upgrade has the best short and charge protection, longevity (I have had some of mine last over 2 years) and they have charge indicator - led goes from white to light blue to dark blue as the charge drops which really helps when going out - choose a batt that is still 'white' and you likely won't run out of charge.

Lots of vendors have them but make sure it's a Joye. I get mine here:
