Hi - I apologize if I'm telling you something you already know, but an eGo battery has two different threads: an external "eGo" threading and an internal 510 threading. I'm not sure the Smokeless Image Volt Spinner may have the external eGo threading, but it does not have 510 threading. It has 808 threading.

Because you asked specifically about eGo threaded devices, you may already be aware of this, but I answered the way I did because I'm not sure what you mean by "tanks" that have eGo threading. Clearos, such as CE4/Stardust types and Kanger EVOD have eGo threading, but devices like Vivi Novas and Protanks, do not. If you want to use those products you will need an 808 to 510 adaptor. I'm posting this because a friend recently got a Vivi Nova and didn't understand why it wouldn't fit on her SI Volt Spinner.

There are cartomizers (to be used alone or punched for tanks) and tanks with 808 threading, but they don't have eGo threading:

KR808D-1 Tank Cartomizer

808 Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL

The EVOD clearo fits on eGo external threads: http://www.discountvapers.com/kanger-evod-bottom-coil-clearomizer-black/

This is what eGo threading looks like:

As I said, I apologize if the SI Volt Spinner has the same external threads and that's what you are looking for, but I didn't want you to spend money on something that wouldn't fit.

I agree with Ocelot about the 808 threading on a Volt Spinner. It is essentially a rebranded Vision Spinner with the Smokeless Image Volt Spinner logo. All of SI's lineup has 808 threading. I don't believe they have the outer eGo threading at all; someone who actually has a Volt Spinner can either confirm this or dispute it.

Smokeless Image has a line-up of clearomizers and Volt T3 clearomizer that will work. You can also use the silver XL blank cartos, punch your own holes, and use a any DCT cartotank.

Actually, I just changed my post because I found a post by Vapoor eyes er:

On the Volt Spinner Battery the inner smaller male thread is 808. The larger outer male thread is an eGo thread. The Vision Vivi Nova is 510 thread so you would need an 808 battery to 510 adapter.

If you want to use a vision vivi nova or a VapeOnly on the Volt spinner, you'll need an 808/510 adapter. Then you can use a sleeve to cover the outer threading to give it a finished look.

If you want to use something like the Kanger Evod, T3 or Protank, you'll need an 808/ego adapter, using sleeve covers to hide the outer threading.

In order to use all of the above, adapters are needed.

no
I tried
ego threaded stuff and it didn't work
u have to use the 808 threaded crap

I'm confused now too. I know the Volt Spinner has 808 internal threading, so it won't take a 510; I wasn't sure about the eGo threading (I wish vendors would be more upfront in their descriptions), - now I'm still not sure. Cherry has one in her hand, but while Vapoor eyes er knows his stuff, it's not clear to me if he has one or is passing on info.

The EVOD - mea culpa. I was totally wrong about that. The EVOD has been compared to the Protank so much recently, I thought it was basically a plastic Protank with a removable drip tip. I had no idea it had eGo threading.

ETA: I didn't read JoAnn's post before I wrote this.

Thank you so much for confirming I am slightly less of an idiot than I appear. ;) Except, but, so it has internal 808 threading, but does it have external threading?

Yes it does have ego threading but the internal 808 threading and battery post sits higher in the battery which prevents regular ego threaded juice delivery systems from screwing down. If it is forced the battery post will be pushed down creating a short. Care has to be used even when attaching adapters to the Volt batteries.

I hope I didn't add to the confusion with this explanation...

I would like to add... I love SI's equipment but because it is 808 threaded, there is limited variety of what JDS can be used with them. They work well with SI's juice systems.

I have recently added 510 devices such as ego twists and vision spinners to my collection in order to enjoy the much wider variety of JDS available. I've even stepped up a notch and recently purchased an evic to sample the added power of vw and replaceable batteries. There is so much to sample and I don't want to be limited to only one source.

Why? Does SI makes "eGo" threaded JDSs to fit the "eGo" threaded Volt Spinners that really aren't exactly eGo threaded because you can't put other eGo threaded JDSs on them?

It all sounds like a plot to make Cherry feel bad.
