I bought mine from CigTech and the cartos have the extended center tube AND labelled graduations.

I personally do not like the lines. But, you are right they look the same less the lines, as the ones I got from mtnvapor.com

Interestingly, if you click on the single pic for the link you provided it shows that one without lines. Guess the lines are not an indicator. : )

If anyone needs a starter kit with two of these and two 900 mAh eGo type batteries: $39.99 pretty good deal

Does anyone think these have a stiff draw to them on an Ego?.. If I put a 510 extension on the Ego it gives an easier draw. and lots more vapor. I wonder if a small hole was drilled in the bottom meal ring if it would do the sam as an extension?

Yes, and maybe. It very much depends on the specific battery.

I've found the airflow can be restricted in a couple of ways. Some batteries have more eGo threads than others. For those, a small hole as close to the tank as possible helps. Airflow can also be restricted if the positive post on the battery is pushed in some. For those, you can pull the positive post of the carto out just a LITTLE with a small needle nose.

I have 3 different eGo type batteries, Joye, 650 mah with led from Litecig, and 1100 mah with led from Smoke anywhere for pennies. The 650 was stiff as a board. The Joyes, are OK with a hole drilled in the carto. The 1100's work perfectly as is.

IMHO they have both because the extended center post is the condensation trap that they all have, except it is installed backwards. Usually it is under the silicon cup and points downwards to prevent sucking condensation up the sides of the center post. I pull the cup off using a wood screw, in the center, or a wire (0.032" or less) because there is very little clearance between the cup and the tank wall. The cup will fit through the top hole (barely). Put the nipple in the silicon cup (extension pointing down) and slide the cup down to the top of the post, even it out, then push it down with the mouth piece.

Likewise, it does not interfere with taking it apart because once the cup is pulled off, it can be placed in a vise or "C" clamp and with a bolt on top of the center post, the tank can be separated from the innards until it is even with the eGo threads on the bottom and the crimp lines cannot be seen in the bottom of the tank. Then it can be pulled out from the bottom.

IMHO

Has anyone documentation that there has been a change?

Yea Big,
It seemd the same on all my batts even on Lavatube with 510/Ego adaptor. I drilled hole just below the acyrlic with a small drill and it does seem to help. the metal is tough or the chrome is tough to get thru, had to use carbide Dremel to get it started then was able to drill a small hole which did make it easier to draw thru. It started getting warm I was afraid it might crack tank but let it cool and drilled a lil at a time..

Honestly, I have no idea about all of the above. Seems like some major customization. Guessing the old ones needed some of this to make them work better - e.g. easy draw. Bottom line, this one is very different. When I view the video reviews of the old one it is clear this one has been improved in the areas they listed as "problems". Hard to fill, need to turn the tank almost horizontal to get the wicks wet, etc... This one - from mtnvapors.com has none of those problems. The cup is not close to the tank and the juice always flows past easily when filling. The draw on these is very easy.

Cheers.

I think part of the confusion for me is the pbusardo review is only like a week old. but I'll give a couple a try from your source.

A few days in...I'm still saying this is an awesome cartomizer, and it is definitely not the same as the one that PBusardo reviewed. Or even the review I posted. Both of them site how hard the ones they have are to fill...this one has all kinds of room between cup and tank.

re: The avatar. I have one like that of them all standing around at the end of the day chugging from full bottles of wine, too! lol

Cheers.

Think you guys might be going a bit overboard with the slight differences in production runs. They all vape basically the same.
Drilling a hole in the base is the hard way to do a simple task. Just put a cut off disk on your dermal and enlarge the notches on the bottom if you think they need more air. IMO tho' the problem is just screwing them on to tight and pushing the positive terminal post up inside the carto to far.

One problem I did run into is one of mine seemed very stiff. What I found was there was a small piece of wicking material in the center tube. I back blew through the carto and it came right out the connector end.

BTW ENS now has them in stock for $5.50 (both LR & SR)

I use the iTurbo with an adapter 808/510 and they work great on my lavaT. The 808's don't have a skirt and hold more juice.

Check this out! Green tank no less. Guess they will make them about any way a vendor wants.
Picked this up from electronicstix this morning.

Here is one of the original ones beside the latest revision. Note the different serrations at the bottom of the tank.
